Previously on Saving Phoebe:
"Ah well," Phoebe put her arm around Bonnie and smiled. "Don't worry, Bon, once Kai gets the machine going, we'll go and kick Vicki's bony arse ourselves, deal?"
"Deal." Bonnie smiled before sighing. "I'm sorry... it's just hard. I thought I would reach Elena but I was too weak to hold on. Vicki is stronger than I ever was as a witch. She's messing with black magic."
"Shit." Phoebe winced. "Bad consequences coming right up for Miss Donovan."
"Yup." Bonnie sighed. "Come on, let's check on K-"
There was a bang and then a black cloud of smoke began to float into the blue sky. The two girls could hear whirring and humming.
"No way..." Phoebe whispered. "No... fucking..."
"He did it." Bonnie's voice cracked.
"We're going home," Phoebe's eyes teared up. "Come on!" Phoebe was shouting in glee as she grabbed Bonnie's hand.
The two girls ran towards the black cloud.

Chapter 12:
"If this is another one of your tricks, Kai, I will not hesitate to bitch-slap you into oblivion. Got it?"
"Oh, Fee, you give me too much credit," Kai laughed.
"It's Phoebe,"
"When are we going home?" Bonnie asked anxiously.
"Soon, pretty witch, soon," Kai smiled.
"Urgh," Phoebe gestured to Bonnie, who followed her. "Are you buying it?"
"What, Kai?" Bonnie lowered her voice, "he's really weird."
"I know, right?"
"He's also hot,"
Phoebe jumped; Kai had crept up without her realising. "Move, you creep."
"This creep will get us out of here."
"Oh yeah?" Bonnie asked, "we'll believe that when we're back in Mystic Falls."
"And I get to rip Vicki Donovan's head clean off her skanky shoulders." Phoebe scowled.
"Damn, girl," Kai smirked, "that was hot."
"Kai, I mean it, get us out of this hell hole before..."
Kai swallowed, nodding.
*Mystic Falls, in the living world*
Finn and Vera were in the dining room of their apartment as they waited for the others. Feeling uneasy, Vera shifted in her chair. "I know I'm blind, but I can see you look worried, dear."
"It's nothing, my love," Finn reached for Vera's hand and kissed it gently.
"They're probably late."
"They're not usually late," Finn murmured as he stood up.
"They'll be here soon," Vera smiled. "Your sister knows the address and-" Vera chuckled. "Doorbell. They're here."
