"I had some business to attend to," Klaus' anger was slowly subsiding. "So, what brings you two back to town? I assume you weren't missing me?"

"Are you gonna tell him or shall I?" Rebekah asked Elijah.

"Well?" Klaus looked at his older brother. "Spit it out, dear brother.

"Word on the street is our mother's back."

Klaus' smirk slid off his face.

"And not just that..." Rebekah said.

"Well," Hayley slammed the truck door shut. "Here we are, home sweet home."

Tyler looked up at the Lockwood Mansion and mixed feelings began to stir before settling in his stomach. "It's good to be back."

"Oh, yeah?" Hayley smiled. "Told you."

Tyler swallowed hard as he stared at the front door; he had remembered the last time he was here was just after Phoebe's funeral. He shuddered as he recalled his mother crying and pleading with him to stay in Mystic Falls. It'll get easier, Carol cried, Phoebe wouldn't want you to leave your poor mother alone. Tyler scoffed. What Phoebe wanted was to live. She didn't want to die, not really, but she did. Old thoughts began to haunt him, causing Tyler to curl his fists.

"Tyler," Hayley reached out and put her hand on his shoulder. "Hey, you okay?"

Tyler nodded, but before he could speak, the double front door opened and there was a quiet gasp. "Tyler! Oh, it's you, my darling boy!" Carol ran out of her house and hugged Tyler. She sighed in content as tears fell. "I'm so glad you're back. I've missed you, baby." Now holding him back, Carol looked at her son and frowned as tears continued to fall. "You look ill. My darling, you look sick!"

"I'm fine, mom, I'm fine." Tyler murmured.

"You're fine when I decide you're fine," Carol scolded before she sighed. "I'm so glad you're back home, son. You've lost weight. My poor baby, have you not been eating properly?"

Hayley smiled wistfully as she watched Carol fuss over her son. She began to follow them into the house only to stop; someone had texted her. Hayley skimmed though the photos that were sent too and her eyes widened. She was worried. Hayley turned her phone off before she walked into the mansion.

At the Mikaelson Mansion, things were tense. After dropping the revelation on Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah waited for their brother to say something. When he remained quiet, Rebekah glanced at Elijah, silently trying to get his attention, but to no avail.

"How can you be sure?" Klaus finally spoke, his voice calm.

"Marcel."

Klaus looked up in surprise. "What did you say?"

"He found me." Rebekah walked towards the drink cabinet. "Drink?"

"Where did he find you?" Klaus asked.

"Louisiana," Rebekah poured two drinks and walked towards her brothers. "I know what you're thin-"

"What were you doing there?" Klaus did not accept Rebekah's drink.

"Unfinished business," Rebekah handed a glass to Elijah and smiled when he accepted graciously. "I had to tie up a few loose ends."

"And what, Marcel just happened to bump into you?" Klaus scoffed. "I find that hard to believe."
