Christopher Chambers
I leaned over Gordie and started tickling all over him, especially his hips. His tiny, thin little hips.
"Ch..Chris! Come on man!! S..Stop!" Gordie yelled, playfully.
"See here's one of my good ideas." I replied. The tickling continued until a little something happened..
As I was getting more into it and Gordie was laughing harder I must have let go of all my weight and had my crotch almost smashed right into Gordie's crotch, causing him to let out a loud squeal.
"Oh shiiii- sorry Gordie I didn't mean that.."
"Well god damnit I know that! Just like you knew the gun wasn't loaded when you made me shoot that garbage can."
"Ok don't bring that up..I'm sorry I was just trying to be playful and lighten up the mood."
He stared at me for a couple seconds more before punching my peck.
"Ow!" I laughed.
"Oh shut up that didn't hurt you."
Eventually Gordie and I started paying attention to what position we were in.. Gordie was laying down with his legs spread out, and I had my knees resting on the ground around his waist.
We sat there silently laughing to each other for about one and a half minutes, until we heard rustling in the bushes and immediately sat up.
"What do you think it is?" Gordie asked.
"I dunno. Maybe a squirrel, maybe a bear." I answered.
A couple seconds later the creature came out of the bushes, it was a more medium sized bear, but scared the shit out of me and Gordie.
We whispered to not draw any attention. "Ok, now Gordie, do not say anything. That's how you draw attention, so just stay still and don't talk."
The bear slowly walked up to Gordie, I could feel my heart racing. But it wasn't for me.
"C-Chris..Why is it doing that.." He whispered.
"I don't know man. Stay still." I desperately wanted to put my hand on his arm to ensure it was going to be ok, but I didn't in fear of getting Gordie eaten by a bear. I didn't care so much about me, didn't have much to live for, but Gordie does, so he was my top priority at that moment. My brain was filled with how to keep Gordie safe. I don't know why right there and then I would almost do anything to keep the bear away from Gordie.
Soon the bear noticed Gordie swallow hard and loud in fear and growled at him, this pissed me off.
"Chris..Get it away.." He squealed.
Ok this is enough.
I pulled out my fist and punched in right in eye, with my middle finger sticking out a little more. This made the bear growl loudly and stop in its tracks, Gordie almost screamed in fear. I picked Gordie up and ran as fast as I could out of the woods and to our small town, we soon lost the bear.
When we made it back and snuck into Gordie's house, I was sweating like crazy. Gordie is light as a feather which made things easier, I just knew he was scared so I did the running for him. I think the scare with the train and Chopper from a little bit ago was enough for me..well enough for Gordie really. Not to mention the leeches situation. About a year or two ago Gordie got a leech right on his..Y'know..And fainted. I swear I almost fainted seeing him faint. No no when him and Vern got chased by that train about the same day..That's when I was super close to fainting. They almost died.
I set Gordie down on the table and studied every bit of him. "Gordie are you ok?? Did it hurt your?? It was pretty loud, are your ears ok???"
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm fine." He laughed, I closed my eyes and sighed in relief.
"Thank god."
"Why are you so worried?"
"I dunno. I guess cause your my best friend, so I gotta look out for you."
He continued laughing, and eventually I joined in.
