Stellar storyline is based on real life. How everyone is afraid of revealing their true selves because of the judging society.

ST☆U : This is the Stellar universe, known as Stay Together Universe or shortly ST☆U with a star symbolizing, they are staying together with stars for forever.

In the ST☆U,
The members were first like others who didn't love themselves but gradually they met stars who told them that they can be perfect for society so they should just be themselves and be perfect for them. The members start to love themselves as stars help them in the process. But as the world notices this, the world judges them and states them as 'BAD'.
All members are separated from each other and are lost now because of world thinks they are rebellious and bad. The world sent them to another universe to repent on themselves.
In this time, when they meet new people (the ballerinas, street dancers, high school girls), each member encourages the new people to try be their selves and break the rules (leah dancing hip-hop in the middle of the ballerinas), Aera (Throwing her bag in front of the school building). They tell others to be their selves, in this they will help them. Like the lyrics goes,
"Follow me quickly as you are being led, don't worry, ha!"
But Krystal is the only member who is still locked inside a big mansion.
Sunil (who is wearing a mask) is hiding to help the members rescue others from this fake world. Or in the other theories, is trying to find Krystal and help her.
At last, alice burns the punishment universe to find her members and to go to stars who are in ST☆U and when the world burns down, the members became one again.
And the word 'free' flashes on the screen. It's still unsure if they returned to their original universe (ST☆U). Stars state their predictions as,
"Maybe they will now face the consequences of being free."
"I think they will return to ST☆U and when they do, they will have to face the consequences of breaking the rules and burning the punishment universe"
