"Listen LB, I need you to trust me, okay?" yelled Red Hood as they fought a ridiculous amount of thugs.

Marinette, unable to to hear him because of the noise, said, "What?"

But by then, Hood had already jumped off the edge of the building they were fighting on, taking down more than half of the thugs clinging onto him.

Utilizing the momentary break she got, Marinette ran to the edge of the building leaning down as far as possible. But she couldn't see Hood.

Ignoring the thugs falling from the building, Marinette screamed his name raggedly. "HOOD!"

In her panicked state, she didn't notice one of the leftover thugs pull out his gun and take aim.

Just as he was about to shoot, he was knocked out by none other than Red Hood, swinging from the building. Unfortunately, the bullet still grazed Marinette and she clutched her shoulder in pain.

Hood, just continued knocking all of them out until there was no one conscious.

Marinette, ignoring the pain in her shoulder, pulled him by the shirt, slammed his hideous helmet onto the ledge and crashed her lips into his.

After a few (read: long) minutes of kissing heatedly, they finally pulled away. Marinette glared at her boyfriend. "What the hell were you thinking, Jason?" she hissed.

Jason shrugged unapologetically. "We were outnumbered. I needed a way to get rid of them."

They both looked at the dead bodies littering the pavement below and the unconscious ones on the roof.

Marinette sighed her acknowledgement. But she still punched him in the arm.

"Ow! What was that for?" asked Jason, rubbing the spot she punched.

Marinette shot him a smirk – albeit a shaky one – and said, "That's for you. To make sure you never do that again."
