The next day after Minnie's interview, the Manoban Conglomerate released their own statement.

This statement pointed out three main thing...

First, they apologized for what had happened to Louis and Leo Manoban. The Manoban Conglomerate would do everything, to find the culprit that harmed their family members and promised that they will give everyone updates about that.

Second, they exposed evidence of Leo's gambling habits and his embezzlement that involved millions. Additionally, they showed a comparison of Lisa and Louis' accomplishments, both local and abroad.

Third, was an argument that rebutted everyone's speculations. From the comparison alone, everyone could see that Lisa was far more superior than Louis, so why would she harm him? Why would she feel threatened? When Lisa was born, everyone already labeled her as the next successor. So why would she feel threatened by someone who was not at the same league as her?

There was also Leo's case. The evidence clearly showed that he owed the Manoban Conglomerate hundreds of millions, killing him would have only meant that he wouldn't be able to pay the debt, so it would not make any sense to anyone. The evidence clearly showed his gambling habit. He was present in different casino's every night, his death could only mean that he might have crossed someone, or owed someone from the underworld.

The Manoban Family laid out all the evidence that could have proved Lisa's innocence, contrary to Manoban Family, the masses did not have any concrete evidence that would have proved Lisa's guilt. All of their speculations were just based on rumors.

Now, there was an important question: why would Minnie point fingers and demand explanation from the Manoban Conglomerate when it was her father who did something wrong?

Why would everyone accuse the Manoban Family's heir of dealing with her own uncle when she would not benefit from it at all.

The three points were so direct and clear that everyone in the media froze in astonishment.

The Manoban Family was someone that should not be trifled with. So it was very randomly for them to be involved in an issues like this.

The Manoban family's statement had only shown how accurate they were when it came to handling issues and scandals.

This immediately turned the opinion of the masses.

These were supposed to be issues of the business world, but after the Manoban Conglomerate's response, the people who were paying attention to this scandal increase.

After all, it was not common that ordinary people could have watched a show from one of the four prestigious families.

"Smart." Minnie muttered while reading the news. "She is indeed smart."

"You mean Chaeyoung?" Jiwon asked while frowning.

"Who else? If I'm right, then she already knows that I am responsible for all of this," she shrugged, "I only hope that mother can protect me from Chaeyoung and Lisa's ruthlessness."

"Of course, I will protect you. Don't worry about it. I will do my best to protect you." Jiwon assured her daughter, her gaze apologetic. After all the things that she had done to her own son, it was only right for her to protect him with everything she got.
