21st Birthday

Maya smiled as she looked how Josh was around his friends and family celebrating his 21st birthday while their 7 month baby girl was sitting between her cousins. Maya shook her head at Mila and Auggie playing while she picked her up immediately kissing her.

"Having fun with Auggie?" Maya asked as Josh smiled at his fiance.

"The two of you are adorable together," Josh said.

"Can't help it. Has to be the affect of a Hart-Matthews girl. Isn't it, Mila?" Maya asked as Josh smiled.

For him turning 21 was about a lot more than just being able to legally drink. His friends thought of that mainly for the last few weeks but Josh thought of it as much more. Yes. He did turn 21 which was already big but that had also meant in 4 months his little girl would be one and in 5 months he would get married to the love of his life. His everything. His world. And that was a bit more exciting to him than it actually was about drinking.

"Definitely it is that. Maybe it's just because she has such a gorgeous mother to inherit her looks from. This is so wild. She's going to be one soon," Josh said.

"Don't say too much yet. She's still a baby," Maya said.

"Hopefully she'll be able to stay that for a bit longer then. Because I'm certainly not ready to give up my baby girl just yet," Josh said.

"You won't for a long time. Trust me."
