Maya smiled looking at Mila fast asleep as she and Josh was busy eating dinner. The little one was just four and a half months old but Maya knew that her life had changed so much since having her which for her was amazing.
"Can't believe that this time last year I found out about her. Feels like just yesterday," Maya said as Josh looked over at the swing where the sleeping baby was. "Feels like yesterday when you told me I'm a father. And I'll honestly do it again. Just maybe raise her from the beginning with you," Josh said and Maya smiled. "I know that is what you missed the most. But this is also not the end of her growing up. She still has a lot of that to do," Maya said and Josh smiled. "I have something for you," Josh said. "Okay," Maya said as Josh went down the hall getting something.
Maya looked confused around the apartment as Josh came out of the hallway. Maya looked at him as he went down on ene knee causing her to gasp.
"Josh..." Maya said and Josh opened a box revealing a ring. "Maya Penelope Hart, marry me. I love you and I know I want to raise our daughter together," Josh said and Maya smiles. "Yes, I'll marry you," Maya said.
