The last few days had been... absolute shit.
Getting back to the Jeep was strenuous enough. But navigating out of Kyoto city, trying to avoid the endless clusters of zombies that swarmed the city like fruit flies over a bowl of rotten fruit, kept you on the brink of losing your sanity.
Two days. Two days stuck in the car (minus the toilet breaks) trying not to get devoured alive.
To be fair, you spent half the time asleep. The fainting spells were unrelenting. But the shouts, curses and inadvertent swerves from Osamu at the wheel dangled you in a limbo between consciousness and a dark void.
Right now, the car was parked in an alleyway you liked to regard as the eye of the storm. It finally seemed like the five of you found some peace and quiet.
You were awake, once again. But this time, Suna wasn't in a state to keep you company as nightfall settled over the eroding structures of Otsu city, just east of Kyoto.
All four boys were dead asleep inside the crowded car. You were squished between Kita and Suna in the back seat, Atsumu having kicked you out of the passenger side the moment the car came to a halt for the night.
Needed to spread his long legs, he said.
You had scoffed and reminded him that you fainted 3 times today which meant Suna won the daily bet and should be in front instead.
