Warning: Violence————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Anglo soared high up into the sky, getting a clear view of the battlefield, and with this vantage point, he watched as Kingdom of Norway led the Viking charge.
Being the only winged country in the battle gave the English a huge advantage, and with the already disorganised opposition, boosting Anglo's confidence.
The winged country nocked his bow, drew the string, and fired. The arrow whistled through the air and landed right in the stomach of a Viking. Again and again, his arrows met their target, slowing down the Viking advance.
He prepared an arrow to aim at the target: Harald Hardrada, but he was taken aback by an arrow that narrowly missed his face. Confused, he looked around to find Viking archers having their bows trained at him, firing at him continuously. Kingdom of Norway had ordered the grounding of Anglo right at the start of the battle: at all costs.
Back on the ground, Saxon assisted in the flanks as the bulk of the army raced towards the bridge. He continued to fight, slashing and cutting at any Viking who had crossed the river beforehand; however, he began to wonder why the English advance has stagnated. Knocking a Viking to the ground, he looked towards the bridge to see the Kingdom of Norway holding the entire English army back.
Using his massive battle-axe, he cut down the English in the dozens, and Saxon watched as he counted how many he slaughtered.
Ten, twenty, thirty, forty?!
This boosted the morale of the Norsemen and provided them with crucial time to assemble their defence.
Saxon quickly scanned the area until he spotted a tub floating in the river. Smiling, he stretched out his hand to a housecarl near him and asked for his spear.
"My lord, why would you ne-", but he quickly was shut down by Saxon staring down at him, so he wordlessly obeyed.
He ordered his housecarls to cover him as he trekked towards the river; slowly and steadily steeping into the tub. He used the spear to push himself into the river and slowly made his way towards the bridge.
With the help of his men, the entity was able to glide undetected beneath the bridge, under the cover of overhanging willows. When he reached his destination, he looked up, and sure enough, he saw the country's unprotected groin. He quickly angled the spear so it was just underneath the Kingdom of Norway.
With necessity prevailing over honour, Saxon thrust the spear through the planks and skewered the country where he stood. Not enough to kill him but enough to incapacitate him.
The large country's eyes widened, temporarily shocked from the pain, as he agonisingly looked down to see the entity below the bridge, a spear at his side as he continued to drift down the river. The great country fell to one knee, unable to defend anymore, as the English took the opportunity to pour over the bridge, trampling over him.
From the air, Anglo watched as everything unfolded, and cheered with the English as they crossed the bridge. However, a Viking archer used this distraction to aim and fire at Anglo, and the winged country yelped when he saw an arrow tip protrude out of his thigh. He spun around to find the source of the arrow and aimed, but he suddenly felt excruciating pain as two more arrows struck his left wing. Right where the muscles were.
Saxon watched in horror as Anglo fell from the sky. He used his spear to push himself towards the bank, and as soon as he reached land, he jumped out of the tub and rushed to where Anglo crash-landed.
