After the premiere I go back to Chris's hotel room with him. "The car will pick us up at 10 tomorrow to take us to the airport to go back home to Boston. And then you don't really have anything for the rest of the year."

He looks at me and sighs, "good. I need a break. I don't plan on doing much next year."

I laugh at him, "you always say that."

He walks up to me and wraps me in a hug. "I know. I mean it this time." He pulls away a bit but doesn't let go. "Thank you Sam."

I back up so he has to let go. "Thank you for what?"

"For always being such a great friend." I watch him smile at me, hesitating. "Do you . . . do you want to watch a movie before bed?"

I think about saying no, but I agree. "Let me go change clothes, I'll be right back." I go to my hotel room to change. I always book us rooms right next to each other, it made everything easier. I put on my pajamas; shorts and a tank, and head back over. When I come back he is on the couch picking a movie. He changed into shorts and a t-shirt. He looks up and smiles at me when he sees me come in and pats the couch next to him.

About 20 minutes into the movie Chris notices I'm cold. "Come here." He holds his arm out for me to move closer to him. He puts his arm around me and places a blanket on both of us. God he smells good. Will he ever know how much I want him?  I lay my head on his chest and it isn't long until I fall asleep.

I wake up in the morning and realize I'm still on Chris's couch with a blanket on me. I hear a knock on the hotel door. I see Chris walk across the room to answer it. He's only wearing a towel, having just gotten out of the shower. Someone comes in and drops a tray of food and two coffees. As he shuts the door he turns to face me. "Good morning! I got us breakfast. I hope that's okay."

I'm not quite awake yet, and a little distracted by him standing half naked in front of me. I watch his still damp muscles glisten in the light. Although I've seen him this way a thousand times, it never gets old. "Um, yeah. That's great Chris, thank you. I'm just gonna go get dressed and grab my stuff, I'll be right back." I look back up at him and see him smirking at me, obviously aware that I had been ogling him.

I go back to my room and get dressed and grab my bag and make sure I have everything. When I come back Chris is dressed and sitting at the table fiddling on his phone. He looks up and gives me that sideways smile that he does. "Hey. Sit. Eat."

"Thanks Chris." I sit next to him, taking a drink of my coffee before grabbing some fruit. I'm highly aware of him watching me far more intently than I am used to from him.

Chris smiles, "Of course. You spending the holidays with me and the family?"

My parents died when I was 20 and I never had any siblings. Chris's whole family has taken me in and treated me as part of the family. I usually spend most holidays with them. "I mean, if that's okay."

He laughs and grabs my thigh, "of course it's okay. You know we all love you. What should we do for New Years Eve?"

His touch makes me heart skip, sending a shock of electricity down my spine as I watch him. "Well, actually. Seb invited me to New York for New Years."

He lets go abruptly, "Oh! That's great. Are you guys-"

I cut him off, holding up my hand, "We are just friends."

He nods, seemingly upset, his whole demeanor changing, "right. Okay. Well I'm gonna miss you. I don't think we've ever not spent New Years Eve together is all."

"I don't have to, I can stay in Boston."

He looks up and smiles at me. "No, no. We spend all our time together. It's good for you to take time for yourself. We should get going."

I see something in his eyes, but I'm not sure what. I figure I'm just seeing things as I grab my bag. Surely he can't be upset at me seeing Sebastian.
