Cates POV:
I sit at the table with Sarah, a really good friend of mine and talk with her about everything until it comes to a certain topic

"So Blanchett how's love life going? Do you have someone special?" She asks me very curious

"I could ask you the same question Paulson" I say in a playful manner "No but seriously, I have my eyes on a certain y/h/c woman" I say with a wink and turn around to watch Y/N talking to a customer of hers

"Ohhhhh Blanchett, so your telling me that you have a thing for the hot barista" she says while looking at Y/N with a really big smile

"Maybe" Is the only thing I say after that

"You have to ask her out, I mean you have nothing to lose and by the looks you two share I can only imagine that she would definitely say yes" Sarah says to me really excited

I don't know if I should ask her out, I mean she's so much younger than me, and I don't even know if she likes girls too. What if she's only nice to me and she only wants to be friends, that would be so embarrassing. But on the other side she really cares about me I think, but what if I read all the signs wrong I don't want to lose her as a friend...

"Don't you dare not to ask her out Cate" Sarah raises her voice a little "I know you're scared that your reading all the signs wrong, but I see the look Y/N looks at you. She wouldn't say no to you. Just go for it Blanchett"

I listen to Sarah talk about how I should ask Y/N out, but I only have eyes for her. We lock eyes for some time until she breaks it because of a customer

"Cate I'm going back to the hotel now. I really want to FaceTime Holland, I miss her" Sarah says with a sad voice

"Bye Sarah, have a good night and tell Holland I miss her" I say while I hug Sarah

Sarah leaves the coffee shop and leaves me alone with my thoughts about Y/N

After about 10 minutes I get the courage to go up to Y/N and ask her out. I ask her when her shift ends and she tells me that it ends in about ten minutes. I tell her that I want to show her something, she asks me what it is but I just tell her that she has to wait because I want to surprise her

After fifteen minutes Y/N finally arrives at my Car in the parking lot, and she still asks me where we're going but I only tell her that I want to surprise her

With a big smile we both enter the car and make our way yo a beautiful hill...
