You have always felt a deep dislike for Nezeko, but you couldn't just bring yourself to hate her. You adored her, but whenever Zenitsu fawned over her every chance he got, it irritated you to no end. Were you jealous? Absolutely. But would you stop him from liking her just for your sake? Well... No.  Lately, though, he's been spending a lot of time with the other girls of the estate, and that only fueled your jealousy.

You lean against the wisteria tree that was on the edge of the estate and stare up at the purple buds. Zenitsu runs up to you excitedly with a piece of paper in hand in hand and a large grin, yet you don't notice the bright red blush that coated his cheeks. "F/N!" He shouts, pulling you away from your thoughts, "PLEASE READ THIS!"

Cocking an eyebrow, you take the paper from his extended hand, "What's this?" He sits down in front of you, nervously.

"It's a love letter! (names) helped me with it! I want your approval!" You unfold it, reading the words that were in his messy handwriting. Before you could read the last bit, you look at the blushing boy before giving him a deadpan look. "I don't think Nezeko can read."

His face pulls into confusion and he shakes his head. "It's for you!"

Your eyes widen and finish reading it. It was- in fact- a letter to you. The paper was decorated in cute little hearts and a weirdly drawn- yet adorable- sketch of the two of you holding hands.

"So?" Zenitsu was playing with his fingers, nervous for your answer.

"I accept your feelings," you say, your face burning, and his eyes light up and he launches himself forward to pull you into a hug.

"I'm so glad! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" He holds you in a bone-crushing hug and you pat his back. "I can't breathe, Zenitsu."

He moves away from you, muttering many apologies, but you pull him into a much softer hug and you place a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you, Zen'," you mumble and he begins peppering your face in kisses to match your affection.

Maybe there wasn't any reason to be jealous.
