Your eyes light up as you gratefully take your package from the delivery guy. After weeks of waiting, the gift you ordered for (I/c) has finally arrived and you were extremely excited to give it to them.

Now all you had to do was wrap it before they got home. Which was in about ten minutes. And you didn't have anything to wrap it in. And the nearest shop was closed until tomorrow. And today was your five year anniversary.

So waiting until you could wrap it tomorrow wasn't going to cut it.

"I'm sure I have something around here," you mutter to yourself as you set the package on the kitchen counter. You rush to the hall closet and begin looking through decorations and other things, hoping to find anything that would make it look pretty.

When there wasn't anything in the closet, you move to the bedroom, searching through a box of miscellaneous things, but to your dismay, there wasn't anything.

You rush into the kitchen again. If you didn't have wrapping paper, surely you had colorful tissue paper.

You mess around in the drawers and finally you found something. It was the gift box that (I/c) had given you when you two made it official. "This is perfect."

But you were too late. (I/c) comes through the front door, they're arms full of paper grocery bags and they kick their shoes off. "I'm home, darling!" They call out, not noticing you standing in the kitchen yet.

When they finally turn towards you, you notice they were holding a package as well. One that looked identical to yours.

"Your package came in. It was hidden on the porch," they lock eyes with you before looking down at the concealed package on the counter. "I was wondering if that was coming today."

You look down at the package and notice it was from the same company you had bought from.

(I/c) didn't pay much mine as they began sitting down the bags and they slide the package to you.

You slide over their package as well and watch as it finally clicks. "I think we bought the same thing for each other."

"If we did, then I know it's going to be great."
