Heads up! Belphie is just your friend and you're dating Beel :)

~

"'M tired," Belphie mutters when you push your hand against his shoulder. He lets out a displeased grunt and gently slaps your hand away. Of course, being the Avatar of Sloth, he had fallen asleep before class could even start. It was now the end of the day and Belphie had found his way into a familiar storage closet.

You sigh and bend down to take his hand in yours. "It's time to go home, Belphie." He gives your hand a quick pull, causing your body to fall against his, and you yelp.

"You're warm, (F/n). Lemme hold you." His arms were around your waist and his chin was resting against your shoulder. The demon was basically cradling you in his lap and you look down at your hands, knowing you wouldn't be able to convince him to wake up or let you go. When you grab your phone from the pocket of your school jacket, his grip continues to get tighter. "Stay with me, (F/n)," he whispers in your ear and a chill runs throughout your body. Belphie knew whispering so close to you made you cringe and he only did it to tease or bother you.

You begin texting your boyfriend, hoping he'd be able to detach his twin from you.

Beel! Come get your brother, he's holding me hostage in the storage closet.

Showing that he read it, you let out a small sigh of relief. He wouldn't take the message, but he'd come to your aid no less. You'd probably have to take him out for a meal, but if he got Belphie away from you, then you wouldn't mind the massive dent in your wallet.

"Belphie, you need to wake up." You attempt to wiggle yourself out of his grip, but he refuses to let you go.

"Comfy." He grunts and tightens his arms around your torso, determined to make you stay in place.

"I'll let you nap with me as much as you want," this seems to catch his attention and he slowly opens his eyes, "BUT," he huffs at the word, "we have to get home on time or Lucifer will have our heads." He mumbles a few curses that were towards his eldest brother and he removes his grip from you before flopping on his side to rest his head against the cow print pillow. Belphie grabs your waist once against, cuddling against you.

He whispers something quietly and you turn your body to face his. He looked content with you in his arms and you couldn't help but smile at your friend. "Did you say something, Belphie?" He nuzzles his face into your chest, his words muffled, but clearer than before, "thanks for making Beel happy."

Well, you definitely didn't expect him to thank you for all things. "What brought this on?" You question and he peeks up at you with his sleepy eyes. There was a familiar look in his eyes. A look that Beel would give you if you shared a kiss or gave him a burger.

"I love you," he blurts, but you couldn't tell if he was being romantic or not, but you had a feeling he wasn't, "whether that's because Beel's my twin or not, I don't know, but I do. I also love Beel and I'm glad that the two people I care for make each other happy."

He moves his body and leans his face close to yours. Belphie's nose was against yours and his lips were just above yours. Your gut was telling you that he loved you romantically and you place your hands on his shoulders to push him away gently. "I don't like you that way, Belphie. I'm sorry." Hurt flashed in his eyes and he lets out an awkward cough.

"I'm sorry too, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

Outside the door, there were rushed footsteps along with the sound of soft growling. The door opens, revealing the Avatar of Gluttony. "You meant this storage closet? I checked the other ones," Beel holds a guilty look and you just shake your head and let out a soft laugh.

His stomach growls once again and his guilty look was replaced with slight distress. "I'll take you to Hell's Kitchen, Beel."

Belphie pulls away from you and leans against the wall once more. "I'll stay here, you guys go out for your date." He reaches for his pillow and you hand it over to him before standing up.

"Join us," you and Beel say at the same time, and Belphie snickers.

"I'm not joining some creepy cult." You laugh and Beel walks further into the room.

"I'll give you a piggyback ride," Beel says with big doe eyes. Belphie's stomach growls and his cheeks turn pink.

"I guess I could go for a burger."
