"Whatcha reading?" (I/c) asks as they lean against the back of the couch to peer at the book that was rested in your hands. "(Favorite book)," you answer, "It's been awhile, so I decided to reread it." You take your eyes away from your book to look up at your lover and they place a happy kiss against your lips.
"Ohh, you've talked about it before. It must be pretty good if you're re-reading it. Maybe once your done, I'll read it as well." You smile, knowing they supported your interest in the story.
"I'm going to make dinner. Is there anything specific that you're craving?" You think for a moment before shaking your head and saying, "anything's fine."
"Alright." They place a kiss against your cheek before kissing your nose, and their eyes fall on your almost empty mug. "Would you like me to refill that?"
"Yes, please. It's (preferred drink)."
(I/c) walks around the couch and gingerly picks up the mug. "I'll be back, then."
