~Chapter 2~

~DREAMS POV~

Its been a good while since Patches left...I know for sure it's been at least a while! After a week of no sleep my body forces me to go to sleep... And it has only happened once so my best guess is it's been around a week. I smiled to myself for figuring out a way to keep track of time. Even if it's not the healthiest.

~3RD PERSON POV~

After about an hour Dream got bored.. I mean there isn't much he can do. He started humming a song stuck in his head, Which then led to him singing to himself-

'I've been falling much more deep..'
"I've been falling much more deep.."
Dream sat crisscross with his head in his hands.

'..Then I wanna..'
"..Then I wanna.."
Dream smiled sadly

'I've been wishing i could breathe-'
Dream sat up a bit and hugged his knees to his chest.
"I've been wishing I could breathe-"

'Underwater.'
Dream held his breath when remembering one of the forms of torture used on him.
"Underwater..." Dream mumbled out

'I hold.. My breath.'
Dream looks down at his feet for a minute before continuing..
"I held..My breath..."

Dream sighed
'I can't see what comes next'
Dream hated himself for letting the torture just happen.
"I can't see what comes next."

'I don't know when...i'll see dry land again'
Dream continued singing...
"I don't know when..I'll feel dry sand again..."

'Another 40 days i'm lost at sea'
"Another 40 days i'm locked in prison..."
Dream stuttered a bit at the end

'I'm just gonna swim until you love me'
Dream looked up even if he knew he wouldn't see anything.
"i'm just gonna sit until they free me.."

'Hoping that your heart will rescue me'
"Hoping that their heart will let them see it.."

'I'm just gonna swim until you love me'
All Dream can do in the prison cell is attempt to write things, Sing or sit. So that's what he does
"Im just gonna sit until they free me"

'Swim until you love me'
"Sing until you love me!"
Dream giggled at himself while he stood up.

'Swim Swim Swim'
"Sing! Sing! Sing!"
Dream "dance" around the room the best he could, He didn't have to worry about hitting furniture at least!

'Swim until you love me'
"Dance until you love me!"
Dream continued to dance and sing around the room while laughing at himself only occasionally hitting the walls. Hehe

'Swim Swim Swim'
"Dance, Sing, Dance!"
Dream had always enjoyed just moving around so doing this little dance made his horrible week a lot better!

Once Dream calmed down he continued with the song again still giggling from time to time
'Ive been drowning in these sheets'
"I've been dying in this cell"

'Feeling lonely'
For the past week Dream has been completely alone. Maybe it has gotten to him a bit...

'Wishing you were here with me.'
Dream started to remember all the mischief He, Techno and Wilbur got into
"Wishing you were here with me..."

Dream slid back down against the wall.
'Every morning'

Dream got interpreted by someone he didn't really expect....
