Everything seems so real, because it really is. It's just sometimes hard to believe that your dreams can be a reality.

I watched Adore from afar, hiding behind the rack of clothes, while trying to find her. Despite having acting included in his resume, him acting being clueless in playing hide and seek is a sight not fit for the weak heart.

"Alisha~"

"Where are you, angel?"

As he called out her name again, the clothes rack shook from the little girl's giggles. With that, it created a little gap revealing the back of her baby blue romper.

He stealthily crouch approaching Adore with his arms out ready to surprise her.

"Gotcha!"

She squealed with delight as Sean started tickling her sides. Adore then giggled loudly that caused almost the whole studio to look at the new found pair in awe.

WIth her infectious giggles, Sean laughed as well.

As an instinct, I started to fidget with my fingers and suddenly became interested with the carpet while biting my lips trying to hide my smile. I take another glance of Sean blowing raspberries on Adore's stomach as the little girl uncontrollably laughed her heart out. The sudden pinch in my chest reminded me how this could be the life I could've given to my daughter.

"When are you going to tell him?"

The comforting voice of my mother broke me from my reverie.

I looked at my side and saw how her pupils dance in worry, trying to say "Are you ok?"

"I don't know."

I nervously replied as I felt my fingers numb, unconsciously rubbing my arm as if it will help me ease the worry away.

"At the end of the day, Kayc. He's still her father and he deserves to know."

She wrapped her right arm around me and kissed my hair. A habit of hers saying "I'll be here for you."

"Thank you mommy."

I mumbled.

"Grandmama!"

Adore excitedly ran to our direction with her arms open ready to hug her grandmother.

Mom kneels to her level, arms open ready to catch her. She then picks up Adore and animatedly twirls her.

"Alisha! My baby!" She cooed.

"I heard what happened earlier. Don't scare us like that again, ok?"

Adore then pressed her forehead on her grandmother's shoulder hiding her face and apologized, guilt lacing her voice.

"Sorry, grandmama."

"It's nice seeing you again, Mrs. Rice."

"Oh please Sean, cut the formalities you know Laura is fine."

He licked his lips, tipped his head sideway and nervously chuckled with his right arm scratching the back of his neck.

"Thank you by the way." He shyly said in an almost hushed tone as his lips playfully etched a smirk.

Is there something I don't know about?

"Of course, Sean." Mother replied almost in the same tone, glancing at me and proceeded to wink.
