A month later (April 2020)

"Caitlin! Over here please!"

I turned to the direction where the voice comes from. I stopped to smile and struck a pose showing my backless dress with intricate gems glitter the frame of my back. With that I heard the continuous shutter of the medias' cameras.

I'm wearing an off-shoulder fitted long red wine mermaid cut dress with a (not so dangerously high) slit.

I cautiously continued walking down the carpet, trying not to stumbled and be nauseous from the blinding lights from the cameras flash.

No matter how many times I'm in front of a camera, I sometimes get flustered and shy so easily. But I somehow manage to channel the inner fierce in me.

Even if the movie's climax makes you move at the edge of your seat, I found myself not intrested and have my mind someplace else. I tried not to be bother by what happened a while ago and paid attention to the movie, but the thought of him simply won't go away.

As my hairstylist, works on her magic, my phone vibrates at my vanity and flash a stupid, annoying, goofy, cute picture of Sean.

Bea, my hairstylist, looks at me through the mirror with a concerned look.

"It's okay Bea. He'll thinks I'm busy." I smiled at her with a look of 'I'm fine.'

I haven't talked to Sean for almost a month. When I mean talk, I mean having our regular face time calls. I still send him texts but it's the same ones everyday for a month.

'Sorry my phone died.'

'Sorry in a meeting.'

or the most frequent one: 'Sorry been busy.'

On the way to venue, I check my phone to find 8 missed calls and 3 unread messages from Sean.

good luck :)

i love you. <3

I feel my heart flutters and warms from Sean's text. There's a sudden sadness and guilt that hit me. He still able to had this effect on me. The effect that I miss him every single day. I finalized my decision that would be the best for the both of us.

September 2021

It's been a long day. A day of the usual: photoshoots, interviews, meetings, filming, and repeat.

I open the door to be greeted by my dogs and the love of my life in the arms of my best friend.

"Hey Adore!" I cooed while I placed my bag at the entryway table, removed my Adidas slides, and walked in.

All the running, and walking left and right surely made my feet swollen from my 3 in. black high heels long place in my car.

I willingly accept her in my arms as she reach out for me.

"I'm very sorry, I know it's way past her bed time, but it seems she's waiting for you."

"It's okay Bails. If anything, I should be the one who's saying sorry. You literally postponed your shoot."

"Pfft... Nah. No worries. Anything for my goddaughter really."

I give her an unimpressed look.
