Zelda's POV

I looked at myself in front of a big mirror, all I could express is astonishment. The crown fits my head as the elegant shades of green from my gown shines. It will expose much of my back if it weren't because of a cape. The design was much more like a tail of a peacock. There were also dangling jewelries on my neck and hands. It was just like the costumes from those of fantasy books I read.

The bright light of the moon caught my attention as it peeks through the large window of my room. My room is built beside Luca's, and it is on the very top of this castle.

I headed towards the big window, you can even take a seat and enjoy yourself there. Looking over the moon, as I firmly close my eyes. Forbearing the events that I thought will only happen in my imagination.

You could clearly tell how amazing yet horrifying the situation is. It should be breathtaking if it weren't because of the monsters that took some mere humans lives. I hope my family would be alright, I'll try my very best to bring everything back to normal.

"I wish this was just a dream." Uttering beneath my breath, before taking a heavy sigh. Everything is wonderful, possessing great powers and staying in a splendid place. Yet the humanity before us is suffering.

Before obtaining these powers, I was just a mere human. A human that enjoys everything that I have and smiling at the smallest things. I know that this is more beautiful than that of exploring this madness through books, but I can't be selfish.

"Me either." I instantly shifted my gazes towards Luca who was sitting at his room's window. His room was just beside mine, therefore his window is about some degrees facing mine.

He was staring at the moon, peacefully. Honestly, he looks good with his costume. His chest was quite exposed, since it was just a fabulous blue clothe that came across his upper body, as it continued to his back. There was some steel bands on his arms, so as his legs. And a crown shaped as thunderbolt all around his head.

"You look kind when you're silent, and annoying when you grin." I silently whispered while looking over the big moon. It seemed so near from here.

"You should be aware that I can hear you." He slightly chuckled while saying that. I roll my eyes before smiling and leaning onto the window.

I don't care if he could hear me, he already knew how annoyed I am with him. Starting from the day he became my stepbrother. Besides, he's not a family to me and technically, we aren't even blood-related.

"You look beautiful with that." He said while looking at my dress. I gazed back at myself before my lips quirk up into a sarcastic smile.

"Yeah." I muttered which made him laugh. He's so good at kidding around, playing jokes and being all playful. I'm already used with his behavior.

"Can I not compliment, my queen?" He 'innocently' ask while smiling at me. I immediately shook my head.

"You can't. Besides, you're the reason why the monsters appear." He looked at me in disbelief before looking away. I have no idea where he threw that book.
