じゅういち: Temptation
——————————————————Seraphina's POV
"I never thought I could be this useless." Huffing a breath, pursing my lips as I walk towards a shade of a tree.
The others were training in the midst of the big pillars, showing off their skills. They look enjoying it while I was told to stay and relax myself. What could Aphrodite do rather than having the prettiest face? I sat on the grass, letting my pink sparkling dress on the ground.
My fingers pointed the tiny edges of the grass, it was so green and smooth. My eyes glitter as it touched the grassy fields, for a split seconds, tiny flowers started growing from which my hands travel. My lips formed into a smile upon amusement.
"Do you know what flower is that?"
My gaze diverted towards Leander who suddenly came from nowhere. He looks definitely like a warrior.
I plastered a smile, before looking back at the flowers. I was adoring it, forgetting how I felt earlier. The flower just healed the burden inside me.
I heard his footsteps getting closer, before seeing him sitting down properly. He also did the same thing, he watched the loveliness of the flower.
"It's called carnation, it symbolizes fascination and a woman's love." I glanced at him in amusement. He really do know a lot about this things. My eyes went over his collar as I saw a necklace dangling from it. It was golden and the pendant was carved like a k—
I immediately shifted my gaze away as if I wasn't staring at him, acting like nothing happened.
He was staring at the flower for a moment, before putting back his gazes towards me. I smiled wholeheartedly as our gazes met. He looks kind and gorgeous, just like the day when I first met him. Aside from the fact that he has this flirtatious behavior with him.
"Your smile melted my cold heart." He said before looking away.
"It does?" I asked innocently before leaning forward towards him. As he brought back his gazes towards me, his eyes widened. Our faces were inches closer. The realization then hit me, what I did wasn't my will.
I lowered down my head before slowly going back to my position, away from him. Was I tempted or is it the heart of Aphrodite that made me do such things?
Nevertheless, it was an improper conduct. I should keep in mind that I have Hans, whom I should find once we get back to the real world. Once we are already prepared to fight against the monsters. I will do everything in order to see him again.
Having a heart of Aphrodite appeared to be a curse, she's too pretty that everyone would like her. She's too affectionate and full of love, that she can get anyone.
"Leander, you shouldn't be here. You should be training along with the others." I muttered while looking straight over the carnations as he says.
He replied with a long sigh. He leaned forward, lifting my chin as his face was inches closer from mine. His eyes were glinting with affection, I could say. And his body seemed to be shaken by an emotion that contradicts his whole system.
