Celeste's POV

Forcing myself to sleep, yet can't even do it properly. I sat on the bed and leaned my back against the headboard. Wandering my eyes around, greeted by the unfamiliar room around me. Bewilderment never left my system, I'm too loaded with questions lingering inside my head.

The room was filled with various colors and flowers. It certainly defines a room full of joy and liveliness. It was astonishing, a place where I could be free. Yet I can't avoid asking myself if I was in the right place.

I look at myself, wearing a fairy-like dress with a flower stuck behind my ear. I decided to stand up and went outside my room. I need to find Rhysand, the questions inside my head were still searching for answers. And I know very well, that he is acquainted with every occuring events in here.

Big hallways of the castle welcomed my sight as I stepped outside my room. On the front door, carved the name 'Persephone'. I could find him by searching for the name 'Hades' on each door.

I was like a lost girl wandering all over an unfamiliar place, looking up and down. I plastered a smile of victory when my eyes caught that name carved over one of the doors. It was an enormous door, with a dark shade of color. It was so different from the room I have.

Exhaling a great amount of air before raising my hands. In attempt to knock, the door suddenly creak open. There was less light inside and I could barely see any lively object. Roaming my eyes around, stepping inside the strange room. Is this room really his?

I looked over the bed and everywhere in the place, only to find no-one. I walked towards the center of the room, the only light peeking towards the room is the glare from the moon. The big windows serves as where the air came from. The room was filled with darkness.

"Where are you?" I asked in a worried tone. I sat at the edge of the bed, exploring my eyes towards the big yet almost empty room.

I'm worried by the fact that he's not here and he might be in danger. I'm also worried that I couldn't sleep if he isn't by my side. I need him so much in this very strange place. He's the only one I could hold on for now.

I lowered down my head when silence enveloped the whole room. I stood up and was about to leave when someone pulled me by the waist.

"I'm here." The heavy feeling eased, when he hugged me from the back. His hands wrapped around my waist, with his chin placed on my shoulder.

"Where did you go?" I softly asked before swaying back my body to face him. My lips pursed as I look at him like a child who lost her parents.

He warmly smiled, before tucking my hair behind my ear. He stood tall and I always need to lift my gaze just so I could see his face. "I was just standing there, at the darkest part of the room."

He chuckled while cupping my face. I slowly rested my head on his chest, breathing normally. Hearing his loud heartbeat made a smile on my face.
