Exactly what is trivial,
And what makes it so?
Dictionary says it's unimportant,
But I would like to know.A thing of little to no consequence;
A niggling wee detail;
A thing to not be bothered with,
Which won't make you pale.And yet, and yet somehow,
I get this question.
What is and isn't trivial,
Is exactly whose discretion?A zero answer is trivial,
A group of one is trivial,
And in case of hard proofs,
The proofs are ultimately trivial.But what if, as someone wise said,
"The world is trivial"?
Then that reduces this question
To absolutely null.
