Reignited Flame *D. Shepherd*

𝟭. 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 {𝗔 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁}

Mia Montgomery stood in the hotel that she was staying at. She was new to Seattle and she had moved recently from New York and had decided to start her internship at Seattle grace hospital.

Mia knew that she had left New York for not only a new start but to come after her brother in law, Derek shepherd, he wasn't just her brother in law. Mia knew how they had something in New York and she wanted to see him again and she knew how things weren't the same since he left.

Her older sister Addison had cheated on Derek with his best friend mark Sloan and he had left. 

Derek had left without telling her or saying goodbye and it had hurt her as much as she had tried to stay behind and move on but mia wasn't stupid and she knew how New York wasn't the same anymore.

Mia sighed as she grabbed her phone and keys off of the side, she was starting her first day as an intern and she was nervous especially since she knew Derek would be there. She knew it was the hospital that he was working at and she didn't know how she felt over seeing him again

Mia sat in the locker room as she changed into her scrubs as she looked to Meredith who sat on the bench opposite her and looked to her and smiled as mia took a sip of her water and sighed

"Only six women out of twenty" Meredith said as mia sighed

"Yeah. I hear one of them's a model. Seriously, like that's going to help with the respect thing?" A female intern said

"You're Cristina, right?" Meredith asked "Which resident you assigned to? I got Bailey" Cristina said

"The Nazi? Yeah, us too" Mia said

"You got the Nazi? So did I. At least we'll be tortured together, right? I'm George O'Malley, uh, we met at the mixer, you had a black dress with a slit up the side, strappy sandals..." George said as the three girls held a look

"Now you think I'm gay" George said as mia looked to him

"Uh-huh" she said

"No, I'm not gay, it's, ah, it's just that, you know, you were, I mean, you were very, unforgettable" George said

"O'Malley, Yang, Grey, Montgomery ,Stevens" a doctor called

"And I'm totally forgettable" George muttered to himself.

Mia walked to the end of the hall and frowned as she saw the small doctor that stood at the nurses station, she kept glancing around hoping that she would see Derek and felt anxious and excited over it all

"That's the Nazi?" Cristina said

" I thought the Nazi would be a guy" George said

"I thought the Nazi would be...the Nazi" Meredith said

"you and me both"

"Maybe it's professional jealousy. Maybe she's brilliant, and they call her Nazi because they're jealous. Maybe she's nice" a blonde intern said as she walked over as mis looked to her and rolled her eyes

"Let me guess. You're the model" mia said as she watched as Izzie walked over to where Bailey was

"Hi, I'm Isabel Stevens, but everyone calls me Izzie" Izzie said as Bailey looked her up a down causing grace to chuckle slightly
