I blinked and looked around the code I was floating in. It felt so...fake.
The code didn't feel like anything at all actually. The code just felt like air. I tried grabbing a piece of code and it slipped out of my hands with no feel.
I sighed and tried to grab another, but got the same result. I punched a code part only to have it recede away from me. I sighed and thought of how I could get this code.
As I floated I felt something go past my back. I quickly turned and it felt like I was moving underwater yet didn't have the feel of the water. I shuddered at the thought and looked around. I didn't see what passed me, but whatever it was I had to keep an eye out for it. I than saw something too familiar.
There was a core by itself that seems to haunt me. 1235. I sighed and grabbed it. It didn't slip out of my hand all though it felt like air. I blinked, "What are you?" I mumbled to myself.
The code didn't respond, thank god, I didn't need a talking code on my hands. Than again the NPC's were talking code technically. I shuddered again.
I hate those NPC's. They were too human like. An imitation that we are still in the real world.
I didn't even realize something was behind me until a female voice whispered in my ear, "You want to know that code's purpose?"
I jumped, somehow, and turned around with the code still in hand. I saw a dark skinned woman with a red dress on and black silky hair flowing down. Her eyes blood red and her lips an even darker shade than her eyes. She looked to be around her early 30's and was very inelegant. I gulped, "You know what it means?"
She nodded like it was obvious, "Of course, I made it."
A thousand thoughts ran in my mind ,but I only asked one question, "Than what is it?"
She crossed her arms and said in a disturbing tone, "Its the code that connected the real world to Xarnia."
Rye;
I held Ion against the wall with my sword at her neck. I looked deep into her eyes and laughed, "You're mine Ion...and now its time for some fun..." I than let the animal take control of me as I started removing her clothes.
Silica;
I sat in darkness of level 5's cabin. I couldn't go any further without Kai. I will wait for him here since this is where he'll spawn. I am never gonna leave him.
I stared out the cabins window to see the snow covered forest.
???;
I sat in the chair at my office. I was spectating a certain event on my computer. This event happened long ago, but I love seeing it over and over again.
Kai.
Kai was looking at the key process to connect virtual to reality. The process that I stole from him. I laughed and pressed my forehead against the desk. I hope my plans succeed. I hope Kai will be tricked by everything. Thinking that Xarnia is a virus when it isn't or that his friend Rye killed an actual man who was really an Arifical Intelligence.
I heard a knock on the door and I responded, "Come in!"
A tall, blue haired, pale skinner woman walked in. She wore a bright blue skirt and jacket. She had a sickened expression on her face.
I laughed lightly, "How you holding up, Ion?" I loved calling her after her avatar in Xarnia.
She shook her head in disgust, "That Rye fellow is doing things to my avatar. You should not allow this Sir Alex."
I shrugged, "Just keep the experiment going, let them have fun. Who cares what the boy does."
She left the room, clearly sickened still. I mean I guess my own wife should feel that way about someone using her avatar like that. Than again its not like we were in the game ourselves. We were just on the laptops, controlling everything.
I sighed and went back to work.
