Chapter 8 (Seven POV)

Since Mono was taller than me I had already guessed that I wouldn't be able to reach the hook. I was about to give up all hope, until an idea had popped in my head, I walked in front of Mono. Kneeled down a bit, and I cupped my hands, he looked at me for a second, and then understood. He put one foot on my cupped hands, and the other foot on my shoulder. "On 3" he said, I just nodded, " 1...2.." he paused for a moment, "3!" he shouted. As soon as I felt him rising a little bit, I boosted him up, 'he made it!' I thought. Although his weight wasn't enough, I jumped up and grabbed his leg, BAM!, a loud noise was made when the ladder came down. It seemed to have startled Mono because he let go. We both fell on the hard concrete, well at least I did, I felt something land on me. My eyes slightly opened to see Mono on me, I closed them again, not having the energy to open them. I felt Mono move, I slowly opened my eyes again, I saw Mono. He was, on top, of, me. His hands were beside me, in a pinning way?, I felt the blush on my face. I instantly sat up against the wall, but then groaned from the pain, sitting up was not a good idea. Mono sat in front of me, he kept on repeating the words " I'm sorry" and " please forgive me" I gulped. " I-it's... okay.." the words managed to come out of my mouth luckily. Although my voice sounded kinda hoarse, Mono stayed silent for a moment. 'Did my voice sound that bad?-' I was interrupted from my thinking when I got pulled into a hug. Mono hugged me? "I'm sorry," he said softly, I melted in the hug, 'when was the last time I got hugged like this?' I thought, I hugged him back. But then my eyelids started to get heavy. I fell asleep, I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep comfortably. All I knew was that, I felt safe.
