"Alright then, proud beauties, full-pocketed cur, 'n other, lower 'n angle the sails! Raise anchor, Mr. Elliot, check the ship's supplies please. Zarriah watch o'er the crew, Penelope make sure the ship doesn't hit anythin', Bell come wit' me t' the map table 'n give me a place t' go!"
Bell hurriedly raced after Rachel as she speedily made her way across the deck, Elliot followed and stepped downstairs quickly disappearing behind the support beams and the mass of barrels. Everyone else other than Rachel, Bell and Elliot was running around the deck lowering the sails, the steady click of the raising anchor filled Bell's ears as they tried to keep up with Rachel. The map table was in the middle layer of the boat, on the bottom layer was the Barracks and kitchen, the middle layer contained the map table and all their supplies, and the top deck had the Captains quarters. Rachel halted at the left side of the table facing towards the stairs, the book had previously been left on the table the night before, picking it up Rachel tossed the book over to Bell who just got to the bottom of the stairs. Bell fumbled with the book finally stopping in front of the map
"Wow, this is one of the most sophisticated maps I've ever seen, is this Mr. Handingers old Gallion?"
"Ah yes it is, you know him?"
"Yeah, I know everyone on Ancient Spire, they all raised me collectively"
Bell opened the book to the second page and was about to continue reading until Chel interrupted them.
"And what o' yer parents' kid?"
Bell stiffened but then again relaxed at the same time
"Oh my family just dropped me off here when I was thirteen, and then left, haven't seen em' in fourteen years"
Bell continued to read the book as Rachel awkwardly set their attention to twiddling their thumbs
"Ah, at least ye had elders fer a wee while, I be an orphan y'know"
Bell looked over at Chel with widened and sorrowful eyes, Bell frowned at how saddened it had gotten so fast, but besides that all Chel had just waved their hand for Bell to continue, and there was a slight hint for them to read the book out loud
"After the first page here, A lead, ancients could reach new islands through the mist, part the shroud. Pathfinder, Wayfarer, Shroudbreaker. There may be more to find in the Ancient Isles, we will start there"
Bell paused to make their way to the bottom left of the map, where the Ancient Isles section of the sea was, they averted their eyes to a few pencils laying on the table, picking one up they circled the bottom left area and then continued reading.
"Artifacts of the ancients, found after days of scouring the islands, very old chest, still good as new. There's a totem inside, an Animal Totem. There's a drawing of a chest here as well as a statue that looks like a boar... Anyway, It's more than a statue, it's a key, a key to the Shroud-Breaker. Sail to the secret places, use totem, Take Shroudbreaker... Drink? What"
