In a small Sea far from any known continents a clump of islands was speckled across a sizable area that wasn't on anyone's map, this sea was surrounded by a large shroud of fog which had turned the seawater in it a dark blood red. anyone who was ever foolish enough to enter on their own free will or just stumble in accidentally was never heard from again, there was only one way out of this treacherous sea but this path was hardly ever used, newcomers were scarce, and anyone inside the ring of crimson fog wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon.
Sloops, Brigantines, and Galleons combed the waters with hungry sailors on board who were in search of loot and adventure. These seafarers were made of Merchants, Fishermen, and mainly Pirates. The name of this treacherous body of water was, The Sea Of Thieves, and in the thick salty air of the expanse's large bustling island of Ancient Spire, one of the many arrays of Outposts strewn across this ocean of liquid barbed wire, the greatest pirate crew to ever sail in the Sea of Thieves, was born

Ancient Spire Outpost - Ancient Isles

For the outpost, the morning was like any other but today, a newcomer had arrived, a singular blue-clad pirate who had sailed in on a dark oak sloop in search of a cold drink. Her name was Rachel BlueJay, a peach-skinned sailor with a bit of tan. She has dirty blond, wavy hair that curls right before her shoulders, and has light blue eyes that caused her to stand out amongst the crowd of people. Rachel was a captain, or at least she would be if she had a crew. They were the leader type, and it was obvious, as sharp as a cutlass and as bold as a blunderbuss this woman was not one to be trifled with.

She donned a black tricorn hat with a red and a blue feather together sticking out from the rim, a dark ocean blue coat reaching down to her knees was clipped around her neck by a couple of silver buttons. Underneath the cape was a white buttoned shirt with tight sleeves rolled up to her elbows, her shirt was tucked into some cotton black pants which were held up by a dark brown and silver-buckled belt and some black leather boots tied together with some string.

As Rachel sat alone at the bar of the quaint wooden tavern of Ancient Spire she couldn't help but feel that today was going to be different, not different as in finding a simple treasure chest instead of delivering crates and animals for the Merchant Alliance, different as in, life-changing different.

"Blisterin' Barnacles you old man! This book makes no sense! It's jus' gibberish, fer all we know the Shores o' Gold don't even exist"

Rachel's head craned over to look at the stained and grimy wooden table next to the door behind them, it was on the completely another side of the tavern so it was obvious the person who was yelling was being unnecessarily loud. A crew of 4 had surrounded a masculine figure who sat on a barrel, with a mug full of grog and an expression full of disappointment. The skinny figure who had yelled waved a red leather book in his face. Chel couldn't help but wonder why that group of 4 was shouting at the poor man. The Mysterious stranger at the table had tan almond skin and white glazed-over eyes with no irises or pupils, their entire outfit was made up of black leather as well as a shortened leather tricorn hat that sat upon their head. With a bit of a scruffy caramel brown beard, Rachel had just noticed that the stranger was missing their right leg, in its place was a black metal peg leg with silver chains wrapped around it. The stranger sure was interesting.

The crew surrounding them on the other hand just seemed too average to pay much attention to, the group was made up of caucasian and tan-skinned figures, two feminine the other two masculine, in short, all were dressed in red leather and cotton, the two feminine ones had curly shoulder-length, bark-colored hair, one in a ponytail the other in a messy bun and both's skin was a dark oak brown, the two masculine fellows both had matching short blonde hairstyles and were colored a tan peach, Becca couldn't get a good look at their faces due to the angle they were facing.
