XVII :: Overthinking?

(Archi's POV)

I kept my phone down and dragged my body to the bed. I've previously heard of death threats and have experienced that, but they were always directed to Y/n.

I haven't heard of many cases where they actually try to attack the managers and the staff. There are numerous people with no buisness who love harassing others, but directed destruction towards the managers will do them zero entertainment.

I again opened my phone and contacted Y/n's Tour Manager. We don't have that very good amity with him, but I needed to know the matter.

Instead of texting, I called him. He may or may not see my messages and probably leave me on seen.

He is those typical American sitcom jerks who would hook up with any and everybody, which is, very unlikely to my culture.

Y/n grew up with me and hence has always been influenced by me. Neither of us are interested to even know how he's been because, start a conversation, it'll always end up on the body count.

"Hey, Matt. It's Archi."
"Hmm? What brings you here today?" I could feel the flirt he was trying to pick up.

"Absolutely ain't calling you for getting into my pants. I needed to let you know that all of us are to be aware of the current situation, which hereby includes the destruction of property owned by Y/n."
"Oh, yeah! That's a matter of discussion. Won't be trying to hook up today. Just listen to a few pieces of data, I need to convey you."

"What information?"
"So I was just preparing the schedule for her tour chart when I recieved an email. Generally when she gets messages, it comes to your server but this was directed to me. It said that it was Coraline."
"So?"
"It said that I was to email your home address in India to her because apparently you aren't in America and are needed to be present here. She said that she couldn't contact you."

"Wait what? You gave her my address?"
"Yeah, and the surprising thing is that she already knows your home address, doesn't she? And when did you travel to India? You didn't inform us, did you?"
"What are you just telling me? Me? In India?"
"That's what she said. Weren't you just at ths Grammy's with Y/n a few days back? Did you both make a teleportation device?"

"Absolutely not. I'm in America, why would I be in India? I don't have a purpose there, do I? And exactly, Cora knows my address, why would she want that from you? You both know my address just like how I know yours."

"I know. I found that suspicious too."
"You sure that was Cora's ID?"
"Yes. So you mean you're in America?"
"Yes. I am at home with Y/n. Do me a favour,  forward me that email."
"Alright."
"Bye."

I quickly ended the call and opened my mails. Matt forwarded me the mail which was undoubtedly Cora's ID but just as the conversation, Cora knows my address.

Could it be that she forgot it?

I checked the time of the mail. It was 8:50 and now is 9:15. When did I text Cora?

I went back to my messages to check the time I replied her. Coraline had messaged me at 8:25 and I replied at 8:33. Our last text was at 8:53, then why would she email Matt saying she couldn't contact me?

Ugh! This is getting complicated and twisted. I decided not to ring Coraline up but had to connect some dots.

I was about to sit and start jotting down everything that I heard when I noticed Jimin standing near the door.

I guess they're hungry. It's already 9:20, I should have made their dinner first. I closed my notebook down and greeted Jimin with a smile.

"Archi..." He said.
"Yeah I'm just making the dinner. I'm so sorry for the delay."
"No, we're not hungry. We wanted to show you something."
"Me? What? Did you complete the puzzle?"
"No... But we did something else. Come with me." With that said, I got up from my chair and walked to the door, to him. He let me get out of the room first and covered my eyes with his hands.
