Your father cared not for announcing you, as well as the rest of the group, one by one you were all crowding in the pristine marble cage. One of gold and crystals hung from the ceiling with a dazzling lights reflecting off. From whispers to cackles, snobs roamed these once joyful and light spaces.

Anna gave a small head nod to the garden, lain beyond the closed golden doors. Slithering through the groups, you minded not their glaring eyes. The guards didn't hesitate to open the doors for you, then with one deep breath you hurry down into the hedge outlined path, from the roses, through the lion lilies and past the petunias.

You searched the large garden with the sound of classical music fading in and out. Then there he was, held hands behind his back and eyes pointed up with his head raised to the stars.

Gods, could he get anymore enchanting?

"Hi..." you seem to startle him. "It's just me,"

He doesn't say anything for a few seconds, just taking in the breathtaking sight in front of him. The layered fabric brightened against the pale moonlight as your s/c skin had soft highlights along prominent points of skin.

"You look beautiful," he was finally able to say, shifting his feet together into a tense stance when you got closer.

"Can we talk?" stepping back, you gesture to a small area, a stone bench able to accommodate you both.

"If we must," he advances first, motioning you to sit first, even with a small bow of his head. Like two middle school children in the playground during lunch, you sat a little far apart, fiddling nervously with tiny glances.

"First and foremost, I need to say sorry for my words, my actions, my- everything, really. I forgot what really means to most to me in all the universe, and that's my friends, my family... you, especially you, Loki," you had your head lowered, his head turning to see the tense lock of your jaw. "You mean so much to me, and I was too blinded by idiocy to realize that I needed you the most. I love you, truly, maybe I wasn't sure before you said it, I was scared, I must admit,"

He waited in your silence. "If it's any consolation, I was scared as well, love is... new to me, but I'm glad it's with you," Loki moved closer, smiling to your surprised face. "I know you didn't mean what you said, at least you didn't mean harm,"

That tilted upwards pull of his lips always made your heart soar. "I didn't... I really am sorry, Loki,"

"I accept your apology, but I forgave you the moment I walked away," his hand cupped your face, pulling your forehead against his. "I love you, my darling,"

"I love you twice as much, my trickster," you chuckles, a smile forming as a kiss was shared. Eyes shut, they soon opened at the sound of music getting louder from the ballroom.

(Merry go round of life is the song I had in mind)

"Can't let the night go to waste," he stood and bowed low, one hand held out to you. "May I have this dance?"

"What a gentleman," you chuckle, latching your hand on his shoulder, your other intertwined with his as you both started to sway with large gleams. The slow tune was calming as you started to circle the fountain, eyes kept on each other, hums and looks causing laughs to emit.

Two steps then another, he twirled you under his hand, dipping you down for a second. In seconds he lifted you into the air, feet landing on the large steps, his eyes watching you prance from stone to stone while pulling him closer.

One wrong move caused him to spin you out to fast, you figure falling over a shrub and into a small patch of flowers, their seeds puffing into the air with a warm luminescent. His fear was discarded when he heard that laugh he adored so much.

"Are you alright?" He hopped over the bush to kneel at your side.

"Of course," a hand reached up to him, his mistake was to take it as you pull him down by your side. Turning your head to face him, there was a small moth, which matched the pollen's light, on his forehead. "Oh, look at that," hooking your finger under it, the creature crawled on top.

"What is it?" you watched him cross his eyes alongside the question, watching the small insect.

"Glow-moths. Creative, I know," you place it into his palm once the prince sat up. "Mum says when a glow-moth lands on you then it wants to grant you a wish,"

"And how do I make this wish?"

"Whisper the wish to it then blow it from your palm, if it flies it comes true, if it doesn't fly away then you either won't get it or already have it,"

Loki shrugs in acceptance, whispering the wish and blowing it from his palm. It doesn't budge but instead hops off; as you frown, Loki smiles brightly. "Perfect,"

"Perfect? What did you wish for?"

"My greatest love to appear by my side," he says with a coy smile, "but I guess I already have that,"

"You're such a romantic," pushing him down against the grass, you lean over him then down to pepper his face with kisses.

"Coincidences don't happen, the universe doesn't make mistakes, because meeting you was greater than anything I could have ever hoped for," Loki was kissed your knuckles sweetly, never moving his eyes from yours. "I love you, and will never stop loving you, whether near or far,"

"I'll be with you in your heart," you add before giggling when he pulled you into his lap, hugging you from the side and laying praised kisses on your neck, shoulder then up to your cheek and temple.
