TW! Hospitals

Virgils eyes were opening, they looked dull but full of spite and determination to wake from the coma he got himself in. He felt like his entire body was about to explode but he got to see the princely figure holding his hand, smiling but also crying. Virgil had more courage seeing Roman and a tiny glimps of Patton standing in the corner eyes glisning as he carefully watched.

"... he ...." Roman had a muffled voice the only word he could make out was he everything else sounded like a computers mother board fried. His vision was also blured. Probably since he hasn't seen light or anything for that matter for at least a few weeks. That's what Virgil thinks. He thinks it was only a few weeks when in reality he was out for 3 months, gaining gifts and peices of cake that had to bee thrown out a few days later.

"Vi.....l?" Patton was still crying but it was out of pure happiness. Virgil sat up carefully with both Pattons and Romans support. He was put up so he could atleast see something that wasn't the ceiling or something just at the corner of his eye. He couldn't move his head, he had no clue on why he couldn't move his head but it was probably because of how week he was. He wanted the lights to be turned off or even dimmed for it felt like he was going blind.
"Hey Pat do you mind dimming the lights? I think it'll help Virgils eyes." Roman said just on time. It was like he knew what Virgil wanted without having to say it. But he also felt the same towards Roman.

"Hey Virgil, how is your chest doing?" Roman asked softly. He didn't want to startle Virgil so they were being very quiet. But unfortunatly when Virgil tried to say something he just couldn't it felt like his vocal cords were being held captive and they just couldn't do anything. Trying not to panic he just did a week thumbs up.

"We have a doctor coming soon to check on you. We can just talk until then and the both of us will be going to therapy." Patton stated going into dad mode. Virgil looked out the room through a very big indow and was trying to find somebody.
"Who are you trying to find?" Roman noticed him looking towards the waiting room.
-Mama.-
"He said his mama. I'm shocked myself she hasn't shown up." Patton said.
"You know sign language?" Roman was a bit shocked but not really since the boy hasn't spoken since he was 6.

"C-a spee-"  Virgil managed to stutter out two words? Sort of. The rest of the sentance probably won't be seeing the light of day antime soon.
"It's alright don't strain yourself. You just woke up you must be tired." Roman was still holding Virgils hand never letting go once.
"Y-a" Virgil said then started to dose of leaning onto Roman. Which alarmed the two because he was literally sideways and still in quite the bad condition. Roman carefully lifted Virgil up and sat on the bed putting Virgils head onto his lap and started to play with his hair while waiting for the doctor. Just on time the docter walked into the room.

"Good evening boys. I heard Virgil woke up?" A doctor asked while closing the door. He walked up to Virgil and Roman.
"Yes he has but he has fallen asleep a few minutes ago." Patton said standing next to the doctor.
"Good, I will be taking some blood, checking his heart rate and doing a few other bits then depends on how his condition is doing depends on when he will be let out. But at the same time we might not get that result so early on."

The docter did all the tests he needed then left the room to go put the results on his chart to give the front desk. Once he did that he came back to the room and told them that Virgil will be here for a month at the least and coud possibly stay here for up to a year.

Soon after the docter left Virgil woke up again.
"Morning sunshine. How was your nap?" Roman asked still playing with his hair. He had to get Virgil off him while doing the tests but as soon as the docter was done he got comfy again.
"Go-d" Virgil was getting better at speaking as the day went on. But of course it won't be perfect for a long time.
"Good to hear. We will be moving your sessions so its Emilie and me coming here to the hospital. It will be the same day just  adifferent time because we still have the group to help." Patton said. He wanted Virgil to keep getting better but of course it is going to be a lot longer than it would of been if none of this ever happened, With the group. They are starting speak proper sentances and learning bigger words. Most fof them already new how to speak but just didn't have the capability to speak. Some just shut down. But that didn't matter all that did was that they was getting better.

"We need to get going now we will be here tomorrow okay?" Virgil nodded and waved goodbye as the two walked out his room.
