Emmett's POV

A week later

I'm sorry that I can't reply to anybody's comments, thank you for reading and voting and stuff... It means a lot.

I finally get released from the hospital. I don't want to go, to be honest. I'm going to miss seeing little one all the time.

"Nurse, is it okay if I see my baby before I go?" I asked.

"Sure" she said.

Little one has been getting better everyday, the doctor says that if she keeps progressing at the rate she is right now, she can be brought home next month, right in time for Christmas.

Ricky and I haven't really seen or talked to each other since the day she was born.

I know he's been visiting her, because it's one at a time for at certain times of the day, and when I ask if I can see her, sometimes, they say no.

We got to the NICU. I caught Ricky in there this time.

"You're getting better everyday baby girl, I'm glad they finally took that tube out of your throat" I heard him say.

"Hey Ricky" I said.

"Hey Emmett" he said.

"How's little one doing?" I asked.

"She can breathe on her own now and she finally opened her eyes" he said.

"Aww" I said. I went over to her incubator, surely enough, there was no tube coming out of her throat and she was looking around.

She has Ricky's eyes and lips but my nose and face shape.

"Have you decided whether or not if you want to keep her?" He asked.

"Yes, I want to keep her" I told him.

"What are we going to name her?" He asked. I didn't know, so I just chose the first two names at the top of my head.

"I was thinking Riley Mikayla Olson" I told him.

"I like it" he smiled.

"Thank you Ricky" I said.

"For what?" He asked.

"Sending me to the mental hospital" I told him.

"You're welcome..." He said. I noticed that he had an arm wrapped around my waist.

"Do you want me to give you a ride home?" He asked.

"If you want, I just have to wait until three thirty and Allie will be here to get me" I said.

"It's barely two thirty, just let me give you a ride home, it takes roughly thirty minutes to get from her work to here because of traffic, so I'll text her and tell her to not worry about picking up" he said.
"Okay" I said. I then noticed that he was holding my hand. How am I not feeling it when he does those things?

"Bye Ry, mommy and daddy love you and will see you soon" Ricky said, blowing a kiss at her.

"I can't wait until I can hold Riley" he said.

"Ryan got to hold her when she was born, he also got to cut her umbilical cord" I said as we walked out of the hospital.

"I haven't seen Ryan visit, but I've seen Allie visit" he said.

"It kills him too much to see Ry hooked up to all those wires and tubes" I told him as we approached his car. He unlocked it and we both got into his car and he started it up.

He grabbed hand again and laced our fingers together.

"When was she supposed to come?" Ricky asked as he pulled out of the parking spot.

"January 12, 2017" I told him.

"Exactly two months early" he said.

"Does your fan base know about her?" I asked.

"Yeah, I posted a picture of her on instagram with the caption, 'sorry that Motionless in White hasn't been touring, I just had a daughter who's two months premature and I've barely left her side since she's been born, she's been getting better everyday and should be able to come home this time next month'" he said.

"Even though I don't know what Instagram is, I hope they're okay with you having a baby" I said.

"If not, oh well, I don't care if they don't like the fact that I have a child" he said.

Eventually we got to Ryan and Allie's house.

"I'll walk you to the door" Ricky said as O unbuckled. He unbuckled as well and we both got out of his car.

He held my hand as we walked to the front door.

We got to the front door.

"Emm, I'll pick you up at around noon-ish tomorrow to see Riley?" He asked.

"Sounds good" I said.

"See you" he said, hugging me.

"Bye" I said before he planted his lips on mine, I kissed back of course. He pulled away.

"Well, see you tomorrow" he said, awkwardly walking away.

I opened up the front door and went inside.
