•RECAP•
•Nicole's father has arrived at the house and they're arguing. Nicole leaves with her stuff as Mike follows. They get back home and get questioned.•

•Nicole•

"Self medicate,
I'll we sleep
We let the night chase evil thing away
Cause we're like animals
Home sick from shows" I softly sing, letting the winter breeze flow through my window. If I could, I would be frozen, but the only thing stopping that from happening are my clothes and blankets.

"Burst into flames,
Scream in the dark,
I'm gonna light up this place
And now in beautiful stars." I trace the scars on my thighs, hoping they'd magically fade away like I am today.

"If these demons keep falling from the sky
It's alright," I tear slides down my cheek, escaping the pain I'm already in.

"Hello?" A knock on the door signalizes that I'm not alone. I use my sleeve to wipe up the year and the runny mascara off my cheek.

"Go away, I don't want to talk!" A few more tears run through me.

"Please, Nicole," Vic begs.

"No, I'm not in the mood, I'm tired, and I look like shit!" I groan.

"Please?" Oh my god shut up!

"Next time you ask I'm leaving!" I cry out. Then, silence. I lay back down on my wet pillow. It smells of salt, and doesn't feel good. I throw my pillow at the mirror standing alone in the corner. It shatters to the ground, sounding like musical raindrops.

"Because I love the way you swing the blade
At everything in sight," I sigh, holding a pile of mauled glass in my shaking hands.

"Separate me from my own two hands
I've killed so many times
And I can't save the ones from the creatures that don't die
I kinda like the way you tell me
Baby please don't go,
I need you here right now,
I'm crying under water so you don't hear the sound!" I scream. Now furious bangs and knocks collide with my wooden door.

"Nicole! Open up!" Vic and Mike both rang through the hall ways. I have an idea.

I take the glass and spread it along the floor so now piece of wood floor is left untouched. I sit on my bed and watch in amusement as the guys try and open the door.

The knob started turning, more than it should. The door swings open full of motion.

Damn it... They're wearing shoes.

"What did you do?!"

"I threw a pillow at the mirror and it broke." I simply state

"All over your floor?!" Mike gestures to the floor with a disbelieving face.

"You can put it that way," they step onto the glass with precaution. Once they knew that they were safe.., Vic tackles me onto the bed to make sure I don't die.

"You're not going anywhere." Vic starts to get comfortable on me and lays back in relaxation.

"I'll get the sweeper." Mike's vans tap down the stairs.

A few minutes later,Tony, Jaime, and Mike show up with a dust pan, a sweeper and an acoustic guitar.

"Here, we'll clean, you play to get your mind off of him," Mike knows me so well. I smile at his gesture, taking the fender and sitting it on my lap. It's a tad bit too big, but it's okay.
~*~ 30 minutes~*~

The boys are almost done sweeping up the glass and moving the mirror out. In that time, I tried figuring out what chords go to which song.

"You haven't played a full song yet," Mike chuckles.

"The chords are getting to my head," I mumble. Letting my fingers dance along the fretboard, even though it was wrong.

"Wrong chords, dummy," Vic sings. Walking over.

"Well that helped my self esteem," I glare at him with all of the nerve I had gathered up.

"Here," Vic sits next to me, replacing the guitar with his leg. He props the guitar up on his leg.

"G, Am, F, C. This is for If it Means So Much To You," Vic says after strumming the chords. (Btw idrk the actual chords so don't blame me.) He hands back the black, matted guitar.

"And hey darling,
I hope you're good tonight.
And I know you don't feel right when I'm leaving.
Yeah, I want it but no, I don't need it.
Tell me something sweet to get me by,
'Cause I can't come back home till they're singing" I sing aloud, strumming the rhythm. The boys join in, Tony playing the solo, Mike creating his own pattern of beats, and Vic and Jaime singing.

"
And hey sweetie,
Well I need you here tonight,
And I know that you don't wanna be leaving me
Yeah, you want it, but I can't help it.
I just feel complete when you're by my side,
But I know you can't come home till they're singing" Jaime and Vic harmonize. We all giggle, knowing that Jenna would sing that part.

"If you can wait till I get hoooome,
Then I'll swear to you,
That we can make this last.

If you you can wait till I get home,
Then I swear come tomorrow,
This will all be in our past," we belt out, not caring who would hear and how out of tune we were. I set the guitar down on an empty space on the bed. Contagious smiles were reflecting their power throughout the room. I guess the 'disease' got me too, because I'm also smiling.

" you're smiling!" Tony jumps up and down on the bed, making us all bob up and down with him. I felt the corners of my lips. They are curved to a point where they could give my ears a high five. I giggle.

"Yeah, I guess I am," they all laugh.

"Well, I think it's time for you to sleep, it's been a rough day," Vic says, taking control.

"Party pooper," my smile flips upside down.

"Hey, nice words,"Mike points a stern finger at me.

"Chill yo dick!"
