I'm blinded bye the bright lights.
"Where am I?" My voice barely audible.
"Nicole?? Oh my god!" Vic rushes to my side, he grabs my hand and rests his head in it.
"I thought I lost you." A tear slipped from his cheek.
"Oh.." Was all I could say.
"Someone wants to visit you" Vic smiled. A girl, about 5'5", bright vibrant blue straight hair, and awesome snake bites and a nose ring. Her vibe was kind of shy.
"This is Katia, she comes and visits patients for a while, and comforts them." Vic exclaimed as Katia reached for a handshake. I hesitated, until I realized she's probably going to be my new friend.
"I'm Nicole" I said, reaching for her extended hand. We shook has. She took the seat next to Vic and I.
"So, what's it like living with Pierce the Veil? I bet it's totally awesome!" She sounded very cheery, but her eyes said differently. I thought about it for a while.
"I'm not living with them, I'm just staying there until I'm back on my feet," I replied.
"Oh I'm sorry, so, how's you end up with them anyways? Not to be rude or anything..." Her voice faded into curiosity.
"My father is abusive, so I called Mike and he came to get me," I smiled at the thought that he helped me, but then realized that he also hurt me, bad.. A stray water log left my eye.
"Oh my god I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you!" True fear in her voice and an apologetic look.
"No no no you're fine! I'm just thinking" I giggled.
