A couple days later on a sunny day, the gang left Sea Side Village to continue their quest to undermine their father.
"Hey Leo, Git, and Rich! How about you three go hunting! Kat, Sara and I will make camp for the next couple of days." Emerald yelled, as the boys stopped practicing their battle moves.
The friends were on a large island in the middle of the Tinarian Sea. They had gotten there by a boat that the Ferns' gave them. Along with new, unused enchanted netherite and diamond tools along with armor and other trinkets from their ancestors. After they set up camp, they decided to catch up on training. They all taught each other
everything they knew, like the Dawn Sweep and Creeper Walk. They were training for hours, and it was very tiring so they all fell asleep in the cave they had made. A while later the boys had come back. "Hey guys! We are-" Rich stopped abruptly because Git had put a hand over his mouth and whispered, "Where are they?? I don't see or hear anything?!" Git and Leo's faces paled slightly.
Oh gosh, Oh gosh.. Git thought. Where have they gone!
Then Rich shouted, "Hey guys! They're over here!" Git and Rich rushed over to find that they were all sleeping in the cave.
"Well.. I am all rested now.. So how about we do some more training!" Emerald yawned, waking up and then falling back asleep.
The next morning Kat sat by Rich, at the ocean.
"What are you up to?" Rich asked, putting a hand on Kat's arm.
"Looking at the ocean." Kat replied, keeping her gaze.
Rich saw she was shivering and gave her his coat.
"Thank you, but I am not cold." Kat murmured, turning her head.
"You were shivering." Rich murmerd, looking straight at her.
"I don't care!" Kat insisted angrily.
"Ok ok." Rich said, stepping away, seeing water rising behind Kat.
Her eyes grew wide as she turned around.
"AHHHHHHHH" Kat threw her hand in the air in shock, but that made the water rise even more which sent it crashing down onto Rich and her.
Kat had screamed which made Emerald run over and shout, "What's- ohhh you have water powers!! Here let me help..." she mumbled using wind powers to lift them out of the water and dry them off.
"Thanks.." Kat said sheepishly.
"No problem." Emerald said, shrugging.
"It actually makes sense now.. You were staring at the ocean almost the whole time we were on the boat Kat!" Emerald gasped.
"Yeah..It's sooo surprising.." Kat said sarcastically.
Emerald was surprised for a moment. "Well.. If you're going to sulk about your new powers today.. I'll go to the others to break the news for you." Emerald said sternly, walking away.
Kat's anger rose again. She was about to slap Emerald into the ocean, but Emerald had sensed the rising water based on the way the wind was blowing, so she lifted rocks and pushed the water back to the ocean. The rest of the day was gloomy until Kat had finally cheered up at lunch and announced that she had water powers. Everyone cheered enthusiastically.
That evening, Sara and Git had gone out on an evening stroll, still being cautious because they knew there could be monsters. Kat was in the cave apologizing to Rich for getting so angry. Emerald was sitting by the edge of the water, her feet partly dipping in the water. She was wearing a short silvery moon colored dress with black knee-high pants. Her hair was down, but two braids formed into one in the back. She was fiddling around with some vines until Leo came over and sat next to her.
