Not even compatible :): Kaito x Kokichi

Ch2

Kokichi wakes up to the sound of Monokuma and chiming bells. He sat up with a pinched expression as he rubbed his eyes. He put on his usual outfit and collapsed back on his bed. He stared longingly at the door to his room as if getting there was impossible. Hearing the other students outside made him begrudgingly get up.  

"Haha morning hoes!" Kokichi announced. He looked around the room to see a few people half asleep and glaring at him. "Please just shut up.." a magenta haired boy groaned. "Wow Kaito I thought we were friends! How could you do this to me?!"

The remaining students joined up in the cafeteria to discuss a potential plan. Some barely able to keep their eyes open. "Does anyone have ideas I could assist in our escape?" Kirumi asked. Her sage hair was neatly kept as always. Nobody could come up with anything. "Gonta thinks we can leave through the exit!" Maki looked up in curiosity. "What exit." "I am assuming he means the parkour from last night," the robot answered. Everyone looked around in disinterest. "Yeah, It seems that none of you want to try again to escape. I'm sorry for forcing it on y'all," Kaede said. "Not to worry! These idiots were such horrible people to you last night, It's only natural to focus on themselves!" grape hoe exclaimed. "Us?" shouted Kaito. "Are you kidding me? You literally yelled at her to just give up, what the hell do you mean we were horrible? Take a good look at yourself and think before you speak next time!"

"Kaito.. it's fine. You don't have to yell.." Kaede crossed her arms and looked down. "Yeah Kaito! No need for this heroic bullshit! If you have a crush on Kaede just say so! Neheehee!" Kaito squinted with his mouth agape, palms facing up as to say 'How does that make any sense?'

Kaede sighed and just left.

Kaito left the dining hall, still thinking about what Kokichi said. He did not like Kaede that way, he sorta liked Shuichi or maybe just was attracted to him. He usually just likes someone for a few days and gets over them. (Not me projecting myself onto him) That's a very Sagittarius thing to do, even though he's clearly an Aries. (I'm a Sagittarius lmao) He can say for a fact that Shuichi is a nice person, and would be a great friend. Kaede seems like a determined and motivated person, she would also be a good friend. 'Don't let his words get to you,' he thought. 

He was wandering around looking for something to do when he saw Kaede and Shuichi whispering about something. They were out in the courtyard by nearby bushes. Kaito was conveniently able to sneak behind them and try to hear what was going on. It is an invasion of their privacy, but at the same time who wouldn't want to know what was happening. 

He couldn't make out all of what they were saying. He heard things like "Door" and "Deduction." The only real sentence he could hear was "Are you sure the mastermind behind all this is among us?" In Kaito's head, he heard the Among Us shh sound effect play in his mind.

As he listened for more, rustling came from behind and then he felt a force push him to the ground. He fell on his stomach and yelled in surprise. Kaede and Shuichi turned around wide-eyed to see him on the ground. "Haha, looks like Mr. Nosy's has no sense of privacy! How mean of you, why would you listen in to something not your business?" Kaito turned around to see where the voice had came from. Standing there was none other than- "Kaito! How much did you hear?" Asked Shuichi, his face paler than it already was. "None at all I swear! I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that I won't say a word!" He stood up, his legs barely stable and his vision blurry. He wiped his eyes and bowed, apologizing once more.

"Come on Kaede, let's go.." Shuichi turned and looked at Kaito one last time in disappointment. "Wow. Truly unbelievable. tsk tsk. What a way to piss off both of your crushes." It was Kokichi. He pushed Kaito. At first, Kaito stared at him with nothing but a blank expression and his mouth wide open. Expecting him to yell at him, what happened didn't go as planned. 

He tried to say something but the words never formed. He looked constipated to be honest. He frowned and looked away from the grape hoe. He hid his face in his arm and sniffled, then just full out started sobbing. Taken aback, Kokichi stood there with nothing to do. What was he gonna do? Comfort him? After he caused that mess in the first place? No way. "Geez, you're such a baby," Kokichi said, sounding harsher than intended.  Kaito looked down at him with the most pathetic face he's ever seen. "Look I.. ugh. You just shouldn't have spied on them in the first place." He nodded at him and somehow could form the words, "True but why the hell'd you push me?"

"Because I'm such a great friend! Nehehee!" At that Kokichi skipped away into the abyss. Kaito sat down by the bush and eventually calmed himself down. 'Maybe Kokichi was right, but I still just can't see us being friends. I'm pretty sure he was joking.' He thought.

Everyone met at the gym because don't know. Monokuma was there. He explained the new motive. Whoever kills first gets no class trial and graduates. You have to kill within 2 days or everyone dies.

"Are you stupid? Nobody will give into your stupid game!" Kaito proclaimed. "Puhuhu guess I'll have to show you what'll happen if you don't abide by the rules. Monotaro!" Suddenly, an exisal just came out of nowhere, lunging at Kaito. He was ready to fight and got into a karate stance. As the exisal approached him, he clenched his teeth, awaiting certain death. But to many's surprise, the exisal was too big to see Monokuma standing there, so it squashed him.

"Yay! This stupid thing's over!" "We're free!" "Yay!" But Shuichi and Kaede didn't celebrate. Instead, they said nothing.
