*ੈI know exactly where we're going. *ੈ

No way he was going to ruin his date with you, not again.

"No."

"No?"

"Yeah. I'm not going. Hurts a lot to cancel, but I have stuff to do at seven."

"What's so important that's keeping you back from this?"

"Why are you worried?"

At that moment, Lee felt more than awkward. He had his head down and his hands on both of his knees, sweating from all the tension. What was he supposed to do in that situation?

"Just a question."

"If you're desperate to know, I'm going on a date to make this up to her."

"This?"

"Coming with you when I was supposed to stay with her. I already did it once and now this is the second time."

"What, she can't stay by herself? What a child."

"That's not the point, Tenten. Would you leave your significant other for your friends?"

"Depends on who my significant other is."

"Do you really love your significant other if you're doing that?"

"So, you're saying you don't love Y/n?"

He stopped at a red light, his hands slowly falling off the steering wheel. He sat back in the seat, looking at her through the mirror.

"Don't ask that question again."

"I'm looking for an answer.."

"Of course I do!"

"So why'd you—"

"Stop talking."

"What?"

"I said stop talking." He said as a couple of seconds passed by

"...This is awkward. I don't think I can take this silence." Lee turned the radio up as Neji continued to drive.

He switched through the stations until there was a song good enough. Lee hummed quietly to it, closing his eyes.

Once the three finally got to their destination, there wasn't anything there interesting to Neji. They would point out cute things like shirts with a pretty writing or drawing, but they never got any. If you were going to get it, then get it. Just stop pointing things out and saying how cute it is if it wasn't coming back with you.

At that point, he began to get impatient. Until you texted him. He put his full attention on his phone with the biggest smile on his face. As the both of you texted back and forth, his mood slowly started to get better.

"What're you smiling so big for?" Lee nudged him.

His cheeks went red a bit. "Um.. n-nothing.."

"It's Y/n, isn't it?" He asked with a smile on his face.

His eyes trailed away from him. "...Yeah."
