"Thank you, Inochi."

"Where're my thanks?" Toshiro asked.

"What'd you do?"

"...Whatever. Have fun."

"Ignore him. You're welcome, Y/n."

"Ignore me?! As a matter of fact, see you, Y/n." He grabbed the back of Inochi's collar.

The door soon closed.

"Well, we should go, right?" Neji smiled, his head slightly tilted.

You returned the smile and started to walk with him. Neji's heart was beating faster than usual. It's been a while since he actually had time alone with you outside of the dorms. He hesitated to hold your hand, and when he did, he felt a little awkward. You felt fine, though. Neji wasn't good at affection in public. You could tell just by looking at his face.

His cheeks were tinted red and his shoulders were tensed. He inhaled and exhaled. Maybe if you said something, he'd feel calm again. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like you were going to say anything.

"N-Nice weather..?" He mentally facepalmed himself right after he said that.

"We're not even outside yet."

"Y-Yeah... I figured..." A bead of sweat fell from his temple.

"Relax, you act like I'm going to bite you."

He breathed, letting his shoulders relax.

"Yeah. You're right. I don't know what I'm so nervous about. So... what movie do you want to watch?"

"Mm... let's watch a scary movie."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep."

"Which one?"

"The conjuring."

"Hell no. Pick another one."

"Hah, are you scared?"

"Of course I'm not scared!"

"Okay, if you're not scared, why can't we watch it?"

"I'm not into demons."

"That's most of what scary movies are."

"You can watch it. I'll go watch a comedy or romance movie."

"Come on, Neji~. It probably won't even be scary." You looked up at him.

He stared at you, a look on his face that was unexplainable. You two maintained eye contact for a while before he sighed.

"Fine..."

You smiled. Once you two reached the outside, he opened the car door for you and everything. Not like you were surprised, though. If Neji says he's going to do something and he does, he's going to take it completely seriously.

So, he took you to the movies. It was packed, but he managed to get good seats for you. Neji was interested in the movie. He looked so cute being concentrated the way he was. He finished his drink and started to chew on the straw, watching closely for what would happen next.
