Phil (1st person)

I woke up, and Lila was looming over me. Smiley? Pregnant? I was extremely confused, and it took me a minute to realize that was another dream. I assumed it was a shared dream; that my friends all had it too. "Phil?" Lila asked. "Why did you wake me up?" I demanded, sounding more annoyed than I'd intended. "Sorry, you were talking in your sleep, so I assumed you were having a nightmare," she said. "Okay, but why were you in my room?" I asked. "I wasn't, I could hear you from mine," she said. I sighed. She took that as a cue to leave. I rolled back over and tried to fall asleep. I did, but the dream never came back. I was mad at Lila, and I figured she'd never understand why. I had completely forgotten that it was a school day. Lila woke me up, again. "Phil?" She asked. "What?" I snapped, annoyed that she'd woken me up again. "Phil, why aren't you awake? It's Monday," she said. I jumped and looked at my clock. Nine fifteen. I only had five minutes to get ready.

Smiley (1st person)

Phil and Lila didn't walk with us for some reason. "Are they coming? Are they alright?" Pico asked. "I'm sure they're fine, they're probably just a bit late," I said. "I hope you're right..." he said. Phil and Lila arrived at around nine thirty-seven. School started at nine forty. "Hey Phil. What's going on?" I asked. "I... Did you have a dream that we visited the future again?" He asked. I vaguely remembered dreaming about that. "Yeah, I think so..." I said. "Okay, so I'm not insane," he said. I didn't respond. "Sorry I couldn't walk with you guys, I woke up late because my alarm didn't go off," I said. "Ah. Okay, well, the bell's gonna ring any minute now, we should-" I was cut off by the bell ringing. Oh, yeah, the school year's almost over, only a few more weeks to go. I think we've got a month or so left. Joy wasn't here today. Honestly, I wasn't concerned at all, I was just glad she wasn't here to torment me today.

Pico (1st person)

I was more nervous about Lila than Phil. I was paranoid that something bad had happened to them. I figured Phil would probably know what to do, but I was worried Lila would panic. However, they both came to school unharmed. Apparently Phil just overslept, and Lila left with him, which made them both late. I had a dream that we went to the future again. It was a bit weird, since we didn't talk much about it at school. Honestly, I feel like I don't belong here. I don't want to be involved in all of this weird stuff. Phred, Phil, Zack and Smiley have seemingly been to space before, and my life's been pretty normal, up until now. I was relieved that Joy wasn't in school today. I checked my locker just to be sure, and the back of it was completely normal. Weird.

Zack (1st person)

"Z-Zack?" Bryan asked, leaning over me. "Ugh... What do you want?" I asked. "Y-You weren't waking up," he said. "Oh, sorry, I was just having a cool dream," I said. "Oh. Can I have medicine now? My stomach hurts a bit," he said. "Yeah, sure... Did you go to mom?" I asked. "Yeah, but she didn't give me anything," he said. "Well, what did she say?" I asked. "I couldn't understand what she was saying," I said. "Um... Was she acting... Normal?" I asked. Bryan shrugged. I sighed. I gave Bryan his medicine, then I went to school. I tried to act as normal as I could, since I'm sure my friends are already stressing enough. Lauren could tell something was wrong with me. "Hey, Zack, is everything alright?" she asked in our five-minute break between classes. It was the first one of the day; the one after homeroom. "Yeah, I just... I'm having some problems at home," I said. "Do you want to talk about it?" she asked. I shrugged. "It's fine, I understand if you don't," she said. "Thanks..." I said. Lauren opened her arms, and I didn't hesitate to hug her.

Phred (1st person)

I guess the school day went pretty well. Despite what Phil said, I was feeling pretty behind. Everyone seems to either have a girlfriend or boyfriend by now, and I hardly even have a crush. I don't like when school ends because of the walk home. Rather than the five to fifteen minute walk my friends have, mine takes a half hour or so. I live in an apartment that's pretty far from the school. I walk since my mom's at work. Our apartment's pretty small, and my mom doesn't make very much, but we get by. I was walking by a ditch when I heard a shouting from inside of it. I leaned over and looked inside.

"Phred, help me!" Joy shouted from inside. All I had to do was pull her up a bit, but I didn't want to. "Why should I?" I asked. "Um..." Joy said. "If I was stuck in a ditch, you wouldn't help me out," I said. "How would you know?" she said. "You haven't done a single nice thing for anyone this year, so I'm not doing anything for you," I said. "What are you, Santa Claus? Whatever, c'mon, it's gross down here!" she said. She was right about that; it was muddy and had a bunch of cigarettes in it. "Yeah, well, maybe you deserve to be down there," I said. "How am I gonna get out?" she said. "You have a phone, don't you?" I said. "There's no signal here!" she yelled. "Well, I can't help you," I said, beginning to walk away. I went out of her vision, but I didn't go all the way down the street. I was curious as to what she would do. She tried to scramble out, but it was hopeless. As much as I hate Joy, I don't think anyone really deserves to be stuck in a dirty ditch all night. I reluctantly went back to her and extended my arm. She grabbed it, and I yanked her up. "Thanks..." she said. "Mm-hmm," I said, walking away from her. I glanced at her over my shoulder, and she was blushing.
