Disclaimer: I have NO hate against Elliot! He is a fabulous character that deserved more screen time. This is just a plot that came to mind. I tried not to be too descriptive in this for people that might be a little sensitive to topics like these. Though I try, I am placing a TW for themes of sexual assault. Thanks you. Enjoy!

Kurt was breathing heavily as he stepped inside of the apartment. He expected for horrible memories to jump out from the darkness and attack him.

What he didn't expect to see was Blaine inside the apartment, rearranging assorted furniture on the right side of the floor plan. A few squares and rectangles in the area were taped off in yellow along the wood.

"What are you doing?" Kurt asked quickly, setting things on the floor beside him.

Blaine seemed startled for a moment, then a big dorky grin adorned the younger boy's face.

"Uh...this is something I thought would make a really great office area-" Kurt cut him off.

"Back away from the lamp, okay?!" Blaine put his hands up in surrender, a frown quickly replacing his smile.

" When someone enters their sanctuary, they don't want their eyes immediately drawn to a hideous workspace." Kurt explained, an annoyed edge coming up in his voice.

"I-I'm not done yet..." Blaine trailed off. Sudden anger boiled inside of Kurt, making him see a flash of red for a moment, and he couldn't stop, nor was he aware of the words that escaped his lips.

"This isn't McKinley. You can just barge in here and do whatever you want whenever you want, all right? You could have at least consulted me before they design decisions in my home." Kurt spat, instantly regretting his words.

Blaine looked confused.

"I thought this was supposed to be our home, Kurt." He retorted. "And believe if we're not, not every design decision you make is brilliant. This privacy- curtains- between- the- bedrooms thing is stupid, come on. We can hear every noise or roommates make it night, and God knows what they hear from us."

Kurt crossed his arms, clearly annoyed.

"You know what? Elliot was right. We are losing our boundaries."

Blaine picked his head up, a sense of possessiveness and jealousy creeping up his face.

"I'm sorry, Elliot? Wh-what does Elliot have to do with any of this?" Blaine said his name with venom coating every syllable.

Kurt felt tears pricking at the back of his eyes, terrified.

Tell him.

"We were talking." Lie.

"I bet you were talking." Blaine challenged, stepping closer. His tone was clearly heartbroken.

"He's my friend." Another lie.

"I bet he's your friend." Blaine shot back. He could see right through Kurt. He wasn't stupid.

Kurt was quick to respond, trying his hardest to hold back tears that he'd been building up since that afternoon, and this wall was about to collapse on top of him.

"Calm down psycho, all right?! And stop being all pouty and weird. It's annoying. Now let's just be adults about this, and put everything back where it's supposed to go." Kurt hadn't been for it to sound so rude and disrespectful. It had just... slipped.

Blaine pressed his lips into a thin line and nodded, grabbing his messenger bag.

" I have an idea. Why don't you put it back where it's supposed to go, because this is your apartment."
