Happy Reading!! :)

Kurt was sitting on the couch when Blaine got back. The guilt that filled Kurt's eyes was heart wrenching to Blaine as he noticed the fresh tear tracks that stained his face.

He wanted to reach out and wipe those tears away, but he couldn't. He didn't.

Blaine was the first to speak.

"Why? Why did you do it?" Blaine asked, his voice breaking.

Kurt's bottom lip quivered as another tear escaped from his bloodshot eyes. He shook his head. It was all coming back to him.

Did Elliot tell him something?

Blaine shook his head disapprovingly, but his eyes softened in a concerned expression. "Kurt…?"

"I-I didn't want to. But….I let him." Kurt muttered, trying his best not to cry more than he already had trying to wrap his head around what had happened.

Blaine paced back and forth in front on the couch for a few moments, which was making Kurt nervous.

"Please...say something." Kurt pleaded, and Blaine stopped abruptly and raised his watery eyes to his fiance.

"I trusted you." He said, his voice low. "I trusted you with my heart, and you went and cheated on me?"

Blaine's voice was dangerously calm, his chest heaving as heartbroken tears spilled from his amber eyes.

See in Blaine in this state, it shattered Kurt into a million pieces. He shook his head again in defense.

"I….I didn't mean to…" Kurt trailed off, unsure of what to say. His mind was still clouded with blurred thoughts and vague memories he didn't want to pull back out from the side of his mind that he usually kept hidden.

"What do you mean?" Blaine demanded, his voice raising and causing Kurt to flinch as if he'd been hit.

He wanted to tell him. He so desperately wanted to explain, but he just couldn't. He only kept silent.

Without and answer, Blaine raised his eyebrows and scoffed. "Wow. I come to New York, and this...this is how I'm greeted. Thanks so much for clearing that up."

Tears pooled in Kurt's eyes, threatening to fall at any given moment. When he didn't answer once again, Blaine reached over and easily slipped the silver-banded engagement ring off of Kurt's finger. He weakly held out his hand for it back, but he simply held it in front of Kurt's face.

Blaine's expression was unreadable, his eyes full of sadness and emotional pain. His tears slipped faster down his cheeks as Kurt felt a single one fall down his own.

"Does this mean anything to you?" Blaine asked, his voice cracked and broken. Kurt nodded quickly.

It means everything.

Kurt disappeared after that.

~  I don't want to know who we are without each other

It's just too hard

I don't want to leave here without you

I don't want to lose part of me

Will I recover?

That broken piece, let it go and unleash all the feelings

Did we ever see it coming?
