Holiday greetings (chapter 10)

(Y/n POV)
After a while of sitting by the fire place in Nialls room we decided to go say merry Christmas to everyone. We started by going to some of the people Niall worked with. Then we went to the styles family. I got to meet his sister and his parents. They were lovely people. After that we went to Liam and his family, then to Zayn. He was by himself.

          "Hey Zayn" I said
          "Oh hey"
          "Merry Christmas!!" Me and Niall yelled in sync
          "Thanks, merry Christmas to you too" he said in response
          "I'm really sorry your family couldn't come this year, do you want to come with us?" Niall asked
          "I'm ok. I'm pretty tired anyway" Zayn said

          Niall and I left and he wanted to go say merry Christmas to the royal family. We walked through the beautifully decorated halls till we reached the royal corridor. That's when I stopped in my tracks.

          "Hey, you ok?" Niall asked me
          "Oh yeah I'm fine"
"You sure?" He asked again
"Yea, but maybe you should go tell them" I responded, I really didn't want to see Louis again
"Why?" He questioned
"You know, I uh. I don't know, I just think I'd be better if you went in"
          "Are you feeling ok"
          "Yeah but you're closer with them and stuff you know, I'll go back to your room and make some more hot chocolate for us, I'm kinda hungry too. I'll get some snacks" I said trying to make up excuses
          "Um ok if you insist, I'll be quick" he replied
(Louis POV)
          I heard the door open, I heard Niall's thick Irish accent ring through the room and a little part of me wished y/n was with him. I looked up but it was just Niall by himself. i got up and hugged him and he gave us holiday wishes and said merry Christmas. We exchanged our little gifts, I offered for him to stay and hangout for a little bit he said he had to go cause he had someone waiting on him. Could it be y/n. And why was she naked in his room earlier. Is there something between them. All these thoughts rushing through my head but I had to snap out of it. Niall said his goodbyes and went on his way.
(Y/n POV)
          I got me and Niall some snacks and hot chocolate from the kitchen, not long after he returned. We sat by the fire for a bit longer when Niall suggested we go back outside. since I had warm clothes on now I agreed. We got out there and saw Harry and Gemma playing in the snow.
          "Harry!" Niall yelled
          "Hey, wanna join us?" Harry asked me and Niall
          We all started throwing snow at each other and a little later Zayn, Liam, and Maya came outside. Zayn still seemed a little off. We were all yelling and throwing snow. After an hour the worst possible thing happened. Louis and Eleanor came outside, they were gonna take a walk together but decided to hangout with all of us instead. He had his arm around her. I quickly thought of excuses.
          "Uh I have to use the restroom. I'll be back in a little"
          I quickly ran inside and into my room in my quarters. I sat on my bed and tears started flooding my eyes. I don't know what was wrong with me. I could clearly never be with Louis but he was just so perfect. I can't see him with someone else, I thought we had something. I never went back to the others, I ended up crying myself to sleep.
(Nialls POV)
          Where did she go, she's been gone forever. I'm gonna go look for her. I left the group and searched all over but I cant find her. Maybe she's in her room. I walked into her quarters and into her room. She was asleep on her bed but her eyes were puffy and her nose was red. It looked like she had been crying. I thought she was having fun. I decided to leave her alone and let her get some rest.
