You all made your way back to Eret’s castle in the darkness of night. Dream kept you close as if you were to poof away like an Endermen at any point.

“Well, I’m going to bed. G'night.” George yawned.

“Night George.” You called after him. It wasn’t long before you found yourself going up to your own room and falling asleep in the comfy bed.

-

"I woke up and Y/N and Quackity are gone. That green bastard went back on his word and my vice president betrayed me." Schlatt took a shaky breath of pure anger, "That's why I need your help."

A man with a purple hoodie on and curly brown hair stood across the table from Schlatt. He had a gold pocket watch hanging from the pocket of his hoodie.

"I think I can help, what can I get in return though?" Karl asked.

Schlatt smirked, "Well my vice president position just opened up, want that?"

"Heck yeah I do!" Karl grinned excitedly at having a bit of power.

"Good, we just have to get
Y/N back so we can control Dream and get him to fight for me against Pogtopia." Schlatt grinned.

"It's really that easy?" Karl asked.

"It is. Here is the plan…"

-

The next morning you head downstairs and see Dream sharpening his axe. “Morning Dream.” You say to get his attention.

He looks up from his work, “Mornin’ Y/N.” He had his mask secured to his face which made you wonder what was underneath it. Why did he hide his face from everyone?

"Hey Y/N? Can I talk to you?" He asked, putting his axe on his back.

"Sure." You sit on the couch next to him.

"I don't want you to leave the castle. Not alone at least." He said.

"Because of Schlatt?" You guessed.

He nods, "I'm sure he is pissed I went against my word and I'm worried he might try something." Dream explained.

"So I can't be alone?" You asked.

"No. I just don't want you to leave the castle alone."

"I think I can do that." You give him a smile.

He returns the smile, "Thanks Y/N. I don't want anything to happen to you."

"Of course. Thank you, Dream." You embrace him with a hug which surprises him for a second.

Once you pull away you get an idea.

"Dream? What if you train me? You have incredible skills! If I know how to swing a sword or axe then I could defend myself." You say excitedly.

He ponders that idea, "It would definitely help but it would be a lot of work. Can you handle it?"

You nod, "If I could defend myself you wouldn't have to worry so much about me and I can help if there is any fighting."

"Okay, we will start tomorrow." He stands up.

-

A couple of weeks pass and you and Dream practiced everyday in the courtyard of the castle.

Today was really hot so you were wearing leggings and a tank top to try and release some of the heat, although it was pointless. Even the breeze was blistering hot.
