I've had a nightmare with a monster like the one above. Probably where I got the idea.

"I'm leavin'. I've caused more conflict then endin' it." Technoblade spat.

Tommy threw his hands in the air, "Is this because Dream beat you in a little battle?"

"There are no sides here, Tommy. Only chaos and chaos will prevail over you and Dream." Technoblade retaliated.

"So you are saying that there is no right or wrong?" Tubbo asked. He was a lot calmer then his fuming friend.

"That is exactly what I'm sayin'! You are turnin' into the thing you hate. Into the thing you originally built this place to fight against. Y/N was right. You are tyrants. You're on your own from now on." Technoblade turns and uses his trident to fly away from the two boys.

"Fuckin' great! Techno is gone and Dream is probably on his way right now to destroy us!" Tommy shrieked.

"Maybe we can try to reason with Dream. Unless you try to manipulate him again..." Tubbo muttered.

"Like he is fuckin' reasonable..." Tommy said sarcastically, "The manipulation part might be a good idea though."

"Tommy! I was being sarcastic! We can't poke the bear again! He'll kill us!" Tubbo yelped.

"Listen Tubbo! Dream does have a weakness! I know what it is now!" Tommy said excitedly.

"Tommy. He doesn't care about Spirit anymore." Tubbo rolled his eyes.

"No. I'm not talkin' about the stupid horse. I'm talkin' about Y/N! You saw how protective he got once Techno hurt her. Dream will blow up L'manburg if we don't do this." Tommy reasoned.

"How though?" Tubbo asked.

"I'll come up with something." Tommy replied.

You tapped your pencil on the paper. These papers George wanted you to do were confusing. It had to do with armor count. You didn't understand how the armory worked. It had been a few days since your loss with Technoblade and the regen potions had really been paying off. The wound on your shoulder was completely gone and the one on your side was nothing more than a small cut.

Dream knocked on the open door. "You want to come with? Tubbo asked to meet with me." He asked while leaning on the door frame. He had his mask clutched in his hand while he finished strapping his armor onto his forearm.

"Hell yeah I do!" You agreed and got up from your chair. Anything was better than paperwork. You put on your armor and followed Dream. He had put on his mask when you neared L'manburg.

The obsidian walls you and Dream had put up were still there but in a few places they were taken down. A few of the citizens were working atop the walls and were tearing them down. They glared at you and Dream when you approached. You walked closer to Dream's side while very aware of their pickaxes clutched in their hands.

Tubbo was standing next to Tommy who looked very unhappy to see you and Dream. "Hey Dream and Y/N. I'm glad you could come." Tubbo said kindly. That instantly sent red flags in your mind and how quiet Tommy was being.

"Why do you want to speak with me?" Dream asked coldly. You had a feeling that he wanted to word it like that. He always acted like he never cared about anything when his enemies were around but you knew better. You knew that he was very kind-hearted to the people he cared about.

Tubbo interlaced his fingers, "I wanted to talk to you about our situation." Dream waited for him to continue. The beady black eyes of his mask was intimidating to Tubbo but he just had to stall for time. "We have a plan. A good one. One you might like." He offered.

"Get to the point Tubbo." Dream ordered.

A cold blade was pressed to your throat and your body froze. "Don't fucking move Dream or I'll do it!" You heard Quackity shout over your shoulder. Quackity had removed the sword from its holster on your hip and pointed it at Dream.

"Let her go." Dream demanded but you hear a small tremble in his tone that the others probably didn't hear.

Quackity smirked, "Yeah right and what are you going to do? You have one weakness and we found it!"

"He's right, Dream..." The voice in his head purred in his ear. The nails brushed against his skin on the back of his neck. "She is a weakness... but we can save her... together... You just have to trust me."

"Drop your weapons and armor right now and I might spare her!" Quackity spat. Dream didn't drop his axe or take off his armor.

"You will be a perfect host..." The voice cackled and the nails felt like a hand clamped around his throat. He felt his breath leave his body and when he breathed in it was hot and painful. The hand still clamped tightly around his neck. He wanted to claw at the fingers to let him breathe properly but his body wouldn't respond to his orders.

He couldn't move or speak. He just choked on the poisonous air he had to breathe in. "Let her go, Quackity." He warned but it wasn't his voice. He didn't say that. He feared that Quackity would slit your throat from his threat.

"No! Don't fucking move!" Quackity ordered. Dream was suddenly behind Quackity and slashed him across the back with a powerful swing from his axe. Quackity fell to the ground in pain. Dream didn't remember telling himself to do that nor did he think he could've moved that fast even for him.

Tommy and Tubbo's mouths dropped open in surprise. "What the hell?!" Tubbo shouts.

Dream glares at them, "I didn't studer." Tommy and Tubbo flee with tridents.

Y/N looks up at him, "Dream how did you do that? You moved so quickly."

Dream wanted to answer her but something else came out, "Let's just go." You were taken aback by his coldness. You followed him back to the castle but something seemed off with him. His body language said it all with his hostility towards you. Did Quackity ambushing you make him mad at you?

"Thank you Dream..." The voice hissed in his ear with a smile. "You've done well and will do me a great service by sacrificing yourself to me... I will make you the man you want to be and you get to sit back and watch..." Dream wanted to fight it and yell at whatever it was but he couldn't. With each breath more challenging than the last he felt exhausted and underpowered.

Sapnap was waiting at the entrance of the castle when you returned. "How did it go?" He asked.

"Fine." Dream snapped. He walked past Sapnap without another word.

Sapnap's brows furrowed, "What's up with him." Sapnap looked at you.

"I have no idea. I wanna talk to you and George real quick. Meet me in the armory." You said and went off to look for George.

The sun settled into darkness as Dream tried to think but every thought of escape made his head spin with dizziness and throb with pain. "Escape is pointless, Dream... I'll show you what you are dealing with." The voice breathed in his ear. His body turned to one of the windows down the corridor. The bright torches from the castle made a clear reflection on the dark window of himself. He wasn't wearing his mask in the reflection but he was sure he hadn't taken it off since L'manburg.

His face was pale with pain and exhaustion. Standing behind him was a tall, black, creature. It wasn't an Enderman. Endermen had eyes that glowed purple. This creature was faceless except for a pearly white smile with teeth sharper than a sword. She had long pointed ears and stood several feet taller than him. Her legs curled down into dragon legs with sharp claws on the end of each toe. She was so thin Dream could see each of her bones under her dark skin.

Her hand was wrapped around his neck with long fingers. When she bent down to his ear she steadied herself with a hand on his shoulder. He felt her weight on his shoulder. Her fingers were longer than his forearm as she grasped his shoulder tightly. "Such a perfect host... The best I've seen in years..." She hissed in his ear. Even if he could move his body he would've been frozen in fear from just the sight of the creature. "I will conquer the world with your help..."
