~ Chapter 22 ~

"Walk forward!" Purpled demanded while shoving you forward.

"I am!" You snapped.

"Purpled? What are you doing?" Punz asked as you and Purpled approached the prison.

"Joining the winning side. This is just a peace offering." Purpled grinned at you.

"Perfect! Come on." Punz led you and Purpled inside a portal. Sam looked up from a front desk when you teleported through the front door. The inside was covered in dark obsidian. You smelled sulfur from lava.

"Wow. You guys caught Y/N?" Sam asked.

"Nope. Just a look-alike. Yes, this is Y/N." Punz said sarcastically.

You looked back at Purpled and nodded. He returned it and cut the rope between your wrists. He passed you your axe and Dream's axe that he had on his back. He equipped his own sword.

"What?!" Punz yelped.

"Take us to the main cell. I won't ask a second time." You said menacingly. Sam flipped a switch behind the desk and the portal behind you vanished. A siren echoed around the corridors. "What did you do?!" You demanded.

"I locked down the prison. No one can get in or out." Sam retaliated.

"Good. I want some privacy. Now. The main cell." You ordered.

Punz drew his sword, "I'm not taking you anywhere." Sam stepped out from behind the desk and drew his own sword.

"Have it your way." You shrugged. Punz charged you but you easily sidestepped and hit him in the back with the hilt of your axe. He fell on his chest and his sword skittered away. You pointed an axe down at him as he flipped over.

Purpled easily fought Sam and had him pinned down and disarmed. "The cell or your lives." You warned.

"Alright. Fine." Sam spat. Purpled let him stand up but kept his blade pointed at him. You and Purpled followed Sam through the maze of traps. You made Punz follow as well with your axes. You were honestly surprised at the security of this prison. Between lava moats, steel doors, and large chasms, this place would be impossible to get in or out of without a keycard.

Sam brought you and Purpled to a room with lava blocking the whole doorway. He started to pull levers and scan his keycard to turn off the lava. The lava started to drain and you were able to see into the next room. It was a large room with lava surrounding the main cell. There you saw who you were there for. He stood up when he saw the lava draining.

"Y/N?" Dream asked with utter shock.

"Let him out." You ordered.

"Never." Sam seethed. You pointed the tip of your axe at his neck.

"Do it before I kill you and figure it out myself." You said. Sam sighed and flipped another leaver. A platform started to go across the lava. Dream stepped on it once it reached the otherside. It came back and you walked over. Dream walked up to you.

"You weren't who I was expecting to come visit me." He grinned and placed his hands on your hips. He was bruised and cut up, which irritated you.

"Want me to leave?" You asked with a smirk.

"Nope." He said before grabbing your chin and pulling you into a kiss. Your insides did backflips. You had never felt so happy in your entire life.

The alarms stopped breaking you and Dream apart. Sam pulled another lever and grabbed Punz's wrist. They ran to a door without a handle that opened. It slammed closed once they were through.

"What did he do?" Purpled asked.

"Opened the prison. People are going to be coming in. We need to go." Dream explained.

"Here. I think you'll want this. Some brat had it." You smirked as you gave him his axe. He smirked at you and took your hand.

"Sapnap and George should be able to fend off the entrance." Purpled said as you guys jogged down the open hallways.

"Not if the whole SMP is outside." Dream replied. You rounded a corner and met face to face with almost everyone in the SMP. Quackity was standing in front of them all with a sneer.

"Great." Dream sighed.

"Drop the weapons and get your asses back to that cell." Quackity hissed.

"We'll pass." Purpled said in a ready stance.

Dream twirled his axe, "Yeah. I think it's time you find out that karma is a bitch, Quackity. Don't really like being tortured."

Quackity's lip curled in anger, "Kill them." You blocked a swing from Skeppy and swept Tubbo's feet out from under him. Dream went straight for Quackity but he was stopped by Eret and Sam. You were being backed up by being overrun. You fought off Fundy and Skeppy while they fought hard to kill you. BadBoyHalo and Tubbo were coming towards you as well. You guessed that this was it. At least you got the masked tyrant to kiss you before going.

The obsidian wall to your left suddenly exploded causing everyone to stop fighting and take cover from the debris. Once the dust settled, you saw three people standing on the pile of rubble. One with a crossbow aimed at Quackity.

"Technoblade!" You exclaimed.

"We have the blade." Dream mocked as he swung at Tommy who barely blocked. He ran past everyone who didn't dare move with a crossbow trained on them and grabbed your hand. You and Dream climbed up the pile of rubble to join your allies with Purpled.

"Techno! I thought you hated control!" Quackity shouted.

"I do. I hate the government. Which is what you were starting to build! You hunted me first." Technoblade stated.

"You will regret this." Quackity seethed.

"Doubtful." Technoblade replayed, "My debt is repaid, Dream."

Dream nodded, "You always have allies at the Greater Dream SMP."

"No government though." Technoblade grinned.

Dream smiled, "Noted."

"This way." Sapnap said and you followed him to a herd of saddled horses. Technoblade had enderpearled away. Before Dream got on a horse you grabbed the collar of his hoodie and pulled him into another kiss.

"Sorry. Had to make sure it was real." You smiled.

He smirked, "Pretty real."

Dream mounted the horse and helped you on behind him. Your hands wrapped around his waist and you rested your chin on his shoulder. You galloped away to take back the SMP.
