"hey Mrs. Ketchum is Ash home?" I smiled
"yes of course, I'll get him, sit down" she smiled as I entered the house and sat down and looked around it smelled like cinnamon and coconut making me smile loving the smell
"he'll be down in a second he's in the bathroom, he said something about shaving his legs" she giggled as I chuckled
"it's totally fine, I can wait" I smiled
"mhm, would you like some tea?" she smiled
"yeah of course" I said as she went to the kitchen
"here you go dear" she smiled sweetly handing me the mug
"thank you" I smiled
"you're welcome so tell me, are you excited for high school?" she mused

"not much, not really a school person" I grinned as she giggled
"that's okay" she giggled as Ash came down the stairs with black shorts and a white tee shirt
"oh hi sweetie" Ash's mom smiled
"hi, hi Gary" Ash smiled lightly blushing
"I'll let you two go, be careful out there" she said as we both nodded
I sipped the rest of tea and set the mug at the dishwasher and thanked her once more as we left

"so I was thinking about going bowling, but I'm a bit hungry, so let's go eat first what do you say?" I smiled
"sure why not" he smiled buckling up
"deal" I said as I started driving there

When we got there we ordered and talked catching up a bit, and of course then went to the bowling alley where Ash did lose a couple times but he was fine, he was a good sport always

– Time Skip To Two Months –

It was my first day of high school and I got ready I really never have tried for school so I just threw on a black shirt, blue jeans and my favorite brown leather jacket
I went downstairs and ate breakfast then left to school

I got there and sighed and looked over and saw a familiar figure and when I focused a bit more I noticed it was Ash
"hey" I said as I saw him jump
"sorry did I scare you?" I bit my lip
"a little bit but it's okay" he smiled
"so what class you got?" I smiled
"math" he smiled lightly
"oh cool? I guess" I chuckled as he giggled nodding we were quiet and in awkwardness until I spoke up again
"can I see your schedule? I'd like to see if we have classes together" I smiled as he nodded and flipped out his schedule handing it to me

I smiled and looked through and I was disappointed we didn't have classes together, Ash had mostly art and creative writing kind of classes while I took the regular kind of classes
"we don't have any" I sighed as he frowned
"not even lunch?" he blinked
"no" I shook my head as he frowned more
"awh bummer" he said
"yeah . . . " I trailed off, the bell then rang
"I better get going, see ya around" I waved
"yeah bye" he smiled holding the books to his chest with a light blush as I grinned and left

~ 3rd Person POV ~
Ash walked down the hallway and I sighed
it had been years he had fallen in love with Gary but he didn't want to accept it, it wasn't because he was embarrassed but he just felt wrong that it was another boy
every time he would see Gary he'd freeze he just thought he was the most handsome, sweetest guy he has ever seen and met

Ash walked into class and hoped in a way to maybe meet some girl to get his mind off of Gary but he knew it was impossible
he knew no one could match his love for Gary
heck he even brushed his hair hoping he'd see him, he just wanted Gary to see him as a perfect guy just like did to him

~ Gary's POV ~
After school came around and I spotted Ash approaching a side walk I quickly went to my car
I drove to where I saw him and pulled over
"need a ride?" I smiled
"it's not terribly far, I'm fine thank you" he smiled
"come on, I don't mind" I smiled as he sighed and gave in
"fine, since you insist" he giggled and entered my car

"so how was school?" I smiled
"good, how about you?" he smiled  sweetly
"good, boring but good" I grinned as he smiled at me
I noticed him staring at me and smiling for a bit now and I chuckled
"something on my face?" I said as he blushed
"I– uh no" he shook his head turning away from me
"I'm not mad" I chuckled
"you're so silly" I chuckled as he pouted at me making laugh again

"so are you going to try out for anything?" I turned to him at a red light
"maybe for the art club or maybe for plays if they come around" he smiled
"that's good" I smiled
"you?" he smiled
"football team" I shrugged
"oh yeah, you like sports, that's nice" he nodded
"yeah" I smiled

"well we're home" I smiled as Ash nodded and we got out of the car
"thank you for the ride" he smiled lightly blushing
"no worries" I smiled hoisting my backpack to my left shoulder
"mhm" he nodded and leaned over and gave me a kiss on the cheek
"bye" he smiled
"bye" I smiled feeling that same ecstatic of feeling inside me

– Time Skip To A Couple Months –

As school kept doing it's thing, I didn't see Ash as often anymore since we had different routes at school
I sighed and went to a coffee shop to get a coffee before work
I was waiting in line and eventually it was my turn but the cashier left for a second so I looked at my phone for a bit
"hey Gary" I all of a sudden heard and looked up to see Ash
"oh hey Ash" I smiled
"so can I take your order?" he smiled
"uh yeah a simple chocolate vanilla expresso" I said as I handed him the $2
"okay, to go or to stay?" he smiled sweetly
"to go please" I smiled
"okay" he smiled after giving me my receipt

Once Ash called my name to get my coffee to go
"here you go" he smiled
"thanks" I smiled and gave him a tip which was $5
"t-thank you" he blushed and left
I smiled and got my coffee until I noticed something on my coffee

' 345 890 4567 Ash '

I grinned and looked back at him, he smiled lightly blushing as i smiled and walked out

At this time I started to realize who I saw Ash as.
