"Whatever it takes, I'll find you..."

"One!" Lillian had exclaimed after my anxious rant. Leaning back into her spot on the sofa, annoyance smothering her darker features as she cut off my train of thought, "you two were throwing cinema seats at an Imp-"

"-A horde! There were like... fifty of them! We were outnumbered!" I retorted back, knowing my correction wouldn't do much. The phantom itch at the base of my neck sprung, reaching behind to scratch it as I often did when anxious or annoyed.

"You were lucky I sensed Seth in a bind and had my arrows on hand, Kieran. Two..." Lilliana cut back in. Her serious hazel eyes watched me as I paced the dimly lit room, becoming more infuriated at my anxiety filled movements.

The slight ringing in my own ears was enough to know that Solar was also annoyed at my grumbling.

The common room was quaint. A lounge, two arm chairs and a coffee table centred, set before a fireplace for the winters up here in Corsair's mountain range – and I had done at least twelve laps around the lounge setting by now.

"It's only been 4 years, Kieran. She wouldn't have forgotten us! She never truly forgot me, and we were separated for well over ten years!" Lillian continued her mild scolding.

For a moment, it appeared as if the Vessel of Conquest was trying to get a glimpse of her brain. With how far her eyes rolled into her skull, snorting loudly at my lack of faith in my best friend; her younger sister.

"Look, my magic ran dry after that sudden break at the Astora boarders by the coast. Then the horde sprung, and Kieran and I were the closest to the cinema, with or without magic. We underestimated how many there were." Seth clearly wasn't convincing Lillian, fumbling to find a way to get his soulmate to take a chill pill as she turned her glare to him. He glanced my way, silver eyes aglow against the fireplace's ambiance. It was my turn to catch a glimpse of my own brain, questioning how this man even managed to train me for three years.

"And-and Kieran didn't... want to set... the venue... alight; we couldn't summon any weapons the chairs were the next best bet, without hurting ourselves into hospital, Petal. For a group of C-Class demons, we got overwhelmed pretty quickly and did the best we could with what was in reach." Seth smiled, glancing between us as we stared at him.

Now he was failing to convince me.

"And in regards to Arianna, Kieran, Petal is right. It's probably just hard to find her," Seth switched the subject, braiding a section of Lillian's hair.

"The Vessels of Solar, and Death of the Four Horsemen, overwhelmed by Imp's?" Lily tilted back to give Seth a glare, watching him smile and nod at her as she scoffed. Lily snorted as Seth began to braid her hair, rather clumsily at that.
