The next day,I went home still startled from what happened from last night. I took a shower which turned my (s/c) into (f/c) scales. I then went to take a nap. A few hours later,I woke up and decided to treat myself by getting some galati!
I got out of bed and brushed my hair and started out the door!
I got to the galati shop and got (f/f). I sat down and began to eat it. It was a warm day in portorosso and felt good on my skin. I saw the kids playing by the fountain and smiled.
While I was eating my galati,I saw Ercole driving his Vespa greeting everyone with a loud "Ciao! Ciao!"
He then saw me and stopped his Vespa. "Ciao bello." He said as he tipped his sunglasses at me. I giggled. "Hey Ercole." I said back with a smile and squinted eyes.
"Wait here! I'll go get myself some." He said as he entered the galati shop.
He then came out with chocolate galati and sat down next to me.
"Fun time last night huh?" He asked with a smug smile. I giggled. "Is that all you came to ask me?" I asked sarcastically with a smile and a eyebrow raised.
"Maybe...." he trailed off. I rolled my eyes playfully. "stavo solo scherzando!" He yelled. (stavo solo scherzando means just kidding)
I laughed. "I came to ask you if you want to partner up with me for the portorosso cup." He said. "The portorosso cup?" I asked. My galati dripped on my hand.
"It's a race. A series of three trials. Swimming,biking,and eating pasta." He told me. "Ooo! Sounds like fun! I'll do it!" I said happily.
"How bout I eat and you swim and bike?" I asked. He then looked embarrassed and went silent. "What wrong?" I asked. He sighed.
"I can't swim." He said quietly as his face turned red.
I giggled. "You can't swim?" I asked. "You're like,a hundred years old!" I laughed and said sarcastically.
"Respect your elders!" He yelled. He then smiled and rolled his eyes.
"Ok ok." I said as I calmed down my laughter. "I'll eat and swim and you bike. Sound good?" I asked. "Perfecto!" He said and licked the drips of his ice cream.
We then finished our galati and spent the rest of the day together.
