I'm making this Gender-neutral since my best friend (who simps for Scaramouche), I had promised her a Scaramouche one-shot. So here I am writing one for her!

Being one of the Fatui Harbingers, people despised you no matter where you went. You were given ugly stares, were talked on behind your back and were looked down upon most of the time.
But those who knew about your power, your strength didn't even dare to talk bad about you, or could even dare to oppose you.
Because of this, the Tsaritsa had graciously asked you to join the harbingers as the 12th Fatui harbinger,
you had accepted her offer, pledging your loyalty to the Tsarisa, you were of course one of her favored persons.
She had blessed you with a cryo vision as a teenager, now had given you your delusion of electro.
The 11th fatui harbinger Childe would often challenge you to fights whenever he got the chance to but you would often decline since you had to carry out your duties.
It was one of those rare days when you had no work, "Hey Comrade! Care to fight me now?" a cheery voice cut through your peaceful thoughts about your hometown.
Visibly annoyed, you see the ginger-haired boy make his way towards you.
"No childe, leave me be" you shot back, with a cold tone in your voice.
"Well, oh-glorious 12th harbinger! will you honor the new recruits with your presence and have a battle with me?" he says,
You could see the nervous new recruits, with excited childish looks on their faces, true that newcomers never got to witness duels against harbingers, at times they would have to wait for months just to witness one.
"Fine.." you gave in, maybe you might entertain the for some time,
The newcomers and the skirmisher gathered around to witness the battle between the two harbingers.
Both were rumored to be strong, some said that childe would win while the more longstanding members were sure that you would appear as the victor.
Summoning his bow Tartaglia shot charged arrows at you which you easily froze without them even coming closer to you. it fell to the ground.
"That's all you got?" you say with your cold glare returning to your face, you had not even drawn out your weapon but you had completely immobilized his arrows.
"Well high-time I get serious" switching to his melee stance, he charges at you with his hydro-construct blades ready to draw blood.
He performs his famous 6-slashing attack sequence, which showcased his skill. But you easily dodged them, still not drawing out your weapon.
A certain navy-haired harbinger had joined the crowd, while seeing the battle between the two harbingers, he was awe-struck with how gracefully the (h/c) person dodged Tartaglia's blows.
"This is getting annoying, c'mon attack me already-" the ginger hair boy whines,
"Not if you fight like that," you respond as boldly as you could.
Childe was pissed, he was annoyed with the (h/c) harbinger belittling him.
Transforming into his foul legacy transformation, concentrating his hydro and electro vision into one strong blow, childe gathered all his strength to make a final blow.
But your face was as unamused as ever, you rotate your wrists.
Even the bystanders were sure that y/n would lose, but the navy-haired boy was curious of their actions, most fighters like Signora would flee at such display and strike back after he has exhausted himself.
Instead, y/n concentrated their cryo vision into their palm in only had a faint glow, the moment childe came lunging in for his attack, Y/n stamped the ground, the blue glow leaving their hands.
Everyone was shocked with the sudden display y/n put. Childe was frozen into ice, completely, even childe had a hard time breaking through the ice.

"Sorry I went overboard," you say walking towards Childe, with your electro delusion, you crack the ice away. Childe is visibly freezing.
"So, I'm the victor of this bout"
Suddenly, the navy-haired harbinger appears in front of you two.
"Oh Scaramouche, long time no see," you say casually. You knew him, he was the one who recommended you to the Tsaritsa.
"That was dangerous y/n," he says grabbing your hand and dragging you away from the crowd. You look at him with a perplexed look on your face.
Turning behind you see Childe excitedly point at his ears while he looked at you, you gave a confused look.
Then he mouthed to you "Look at his ears"
Facing forward you focus your vision on his ears, which were dusted pink.
