[Happy end of the story]
It had been almost a week since Childe left, you waited for him.
For the time being, he was gone, you decided to adorn your shop with lilies, specifically glaze lilies.
Each day, you ended a much larger amount of glaze lilies while you always looked at the doors of your shop, waiting for the familiar ginger-haired figure to appear.
You comforted yourself, waiting for him to return, while you gazed at the ring on your hand, just waiting for your soon-to-be husband, to come home.
Childe took in the scenery before him, the very same white snow-painted scenery before him, to which he always gleefully returned.
He remembers slowly approaching his home, where Teucer, Tonia, Anthon, and his other siblings hugging him, asking about his travels to faraway lands.
"Tonia, Teucer, Anthon, I have something to tell you all" as he huddled them together
They looked at him with the expectation of some promotion or sore intriguing story, before teucer burst out,
"Is it about (y/n?), did he send flowers?" he looked at his brother expectantly,
Childe nodded, "Yes Teucer, its about (y/n)" he sighed before showing the ring on his hand to them.
They stood dumbfounded for a moment before they burst into wild chatter,
"Oh my god childe did you-?"
"We have a new member in the family!!"
"Get the preparations ready, Tonia don't take out the bridal dress out of nowhere-"
He chuckled, as a few tears escaped the corner of his eyes. He never thought that they would accept it like the most normal thing ever.
"Well Tonia, Anthon... Im leaving my position" The two look at him shocked, slowly approaching when Anthon squeezes his shoulders.
"Its okay ajax, we will find a way. How about we all depart to Liyue?" he said softly before he was pulled into a hug by him
Then they decided to depart to Liyue, of course, unnoticed by fatui guards. While the 11th of the harbingers requested an audience from the Tsarista
"Bow to her Majesty, The Tsaritsa"
Childe knelt on the cold floor, as he felt the presence of the Cryo archon.
"Speak" she said in her velvety cold voice.
"Your majesty, I would like to resign from my position from the 11th Harbinger"
The entire room fell silent
"Come again, would you?" the cryo archon asked but her voice was laced with a hint of anger in her voice,
"I would like to retire from- gh--" He was pulled up in front of the Tsarista as her icy eyes stared into his lifeless blue hues
"You had sworn your loyalty to us. And now you wish to leave? Don't think its easy, 11th harbinger"
She threw him to the floor, as she stared at his body crumple,
"Soldiers, cast him out. Make a good example of what happens when anybody disobeys us" The skirmishers roughly picked his body as they dragged him through the floor.
Childe gritted his teeth before slicing their heads with his hydro construct blades. He runs out of the palace, before any of the fatui soldiers or the Tsaritsa registers anything,
It was just like he planned, outside the Zapolyarny palace the blonde-haired traveler who pierced their sword through a cicin mage.
They stretch their hands, as they reach out for Childe, as they open thair map ready to Teleport,
The Tsaritsa herself rushes out, she then looks at the scene before her,
"You, Tartaglia shall never be welcomed to Sneznaya anymore! You traitor!" she bellowed in her voice,
The ginger looked back at her and smirked,
"Id rather be a traitor"
Suddenly a blue light engulfs him as he holds the traveler's hand, he remembers the familiar feeling of being in liyue, as he was now at Liyue harbor midst the streets of the city.
His body reacted before his mind could function anything before he knew he was at the very entrance of the same shop.
"Childe?"
He whipped his head to see the ashen hair boy look at him in shock, as tears streamed down his cheek. He brought him close, as he then leaned in for a kiss.
Short, sweet, and simple,
"Thank you for waiting"
